It would work…if we actually had ways to grind for whoever we want. EA would lose alot of money i think if they got rid of it though. Half the people that play this game play for the AH/team building aspect.

I'm not saying they are going to remove the AH - but If you really want to know what it would look like just download and play Madden Mobile. They got rid of the AH in mobile a couple of years ago. I stopped playing almost immediately. To get better cards you need to exchange lower versions. But it takes forever and you just have to be lucky enough to get the cards you need from packs. It is awful...

Kinda off topic but does anybody else miss the Arcady feel of old maddens? Like if you went back and watched a YouTube video from Madden 20 the players were so much faster and your Wr would catch crazy balls. Is it just me?

This is a very good question, that I would like to point out. I myself would no longer play madden! I've always liked the luxury of buying points, and buying bundles, and now they have the step offers, which works for me! I get sense of enjoyment navigating the AH, figuring out sets to increase my coin count, when to buy, when to sell. Also I don't mind grinding either, and playing online as well. The ah is simply just the fastest way to get to where you want your team, and I don't mind spending to play this game.

I would stop as well. Team building is my favorite part. Even doing different theme teams. It would be extremely expensive if u have to pull packs to get everything.
But a giant moneygrab could be that you can buy every card with points.
