Personally don’t think they were a scam especially when we were able to get those power up passes such as 95-96 power up pass. That would let you replace the card for free. Yeah you had to dump a lot of training in but I thought it actually helped NMS players

Truth!
Power ups made each player much more expensive as you had either spend training or buy 5-6 cards at end game.
both scenarios made it difficult to change players in your line up, which imo is what MUT is about.
The only way Power Ups should be in the Game is if they start off with a low OVR, every single stage of the Power Up path can be completed using a Power Up Pass, every single level of Power Up Pass should be able to be acquired through Field Passes and through Opening Packs, and all Power Up Passes should be sellable, so can therefore also be purchased from other people through the Auction House, and every single Player who gets a Power Up should be able to be Powered Up all the way to 99, with his 99 Power Up card having slightly better Attributes than any other 99 version of that Player, then it would be worthwhile.

Power ups are basically just a waste of time and coins, have to spend coins get training points in order to power players. JUST KEEP POWER UPS OUT OF THE GAME!!!
