How do you counter the Scum Kick?

They use a kicker with no abilities and it bounces between my returners and it pins me inside the 10 with no blocking.

I have noticed this more too. The either short kick and bounces or kick to either side and you barely make to the 25

This is typically what we do, as well... this has been an issue for years, EA has no clue how to resolve many of these issues. 

Drag your guys up, them click OFF and hope you'll be in position to grab the ball. It's so stupid, up there with double pass (and terrible blocking logic) as some of the most impactful issues ruining the game.
