How do you activate Purple Genki chem?

I've got a couple fusion cards , blue and red genki chems are activating but not purple.... is there some trick to it? What even does it do?

Brother i was so confused from the purple ones and from what ive garhered you need the ap being used on the fusion cards to be available on both offense AND defense. Then activate the player from offense if its an offense base card or defense if its D. I just said f it and sold woolen then just bought 97 ps2.

purple is just blue and red combined from the description of it

Bro,.I. put Cam.Jordan on D,.and O and tried.  Nothing... can't activate his abilities..

Then put Fusion Davante at WR, Fusion Woolen at CB.... chems still aren't working..

If you dont have ap available on both offense and defensive it wont activate. Any ap on cam will apply to defense ap and offense ap. Problem is, it will show the ap isnt counting on offensive when it actually does.

I had AP on Cam and Woolen on both sides of the ball but frankly,.with ULs dropping tomorrow I'm just looking past this crappy Genki promo anyway....
