How are deliberate desyncs still a thing?

I was one play away from winning an event game and the dude desynched me. Game doesn’t count. 

I won’t post his name but I did report him for cheating (which will do nothing). 

This has been done to me several times the last few weeks after not being an issue for most of the year. Are others seeing it too?

Yeah same shit happened to me a couple days ago. It’s crazy to me how hard it is for people to accept they lost.

Same during the event. Didn’t realize people had the ability to trigger one deliberately. Least it didn’t count as an L I guess. Just a wasted W.

I rage-quit a couple weeks back by immediately powering down my console -- logged on the following day to realize that the House Rules (H2H) game didn't count.  I got a freebie, no real rhyme or reason why (or how), doing the same thing 10 times in a row wouldn't result in a game not counting.  I inevitably chalked it up to the overall poor state of the game and nearly every aspect of it being a buggy ass, inconsistent mess.

I suspect if there were a convenient or easy method for forcing disconnects, we'd see YouTubers screaming into their cameras posting videos about their "sekrit haxx0r" method.  Information travels fast these days... SOMEONE would leak it.  Just my two cents.  Desyncs happen to us in Squads all the dang time, but typically they result in a near immediate loss.  I'm open to ideas or suggestions if folks have a way to recreate the madness.

That’s interesting in that when it happened to me, dude had “minimal flair” and if I had that power, my player card would be decked out with so much top 100 flair I’d be Chotchkie’s Employee Of The Month every season 😂

Gutfoxx,jonseyplaysmadden and this other youtber i forget his name but he was apart of the easter lott scandal.  All show how to dc glitch. Gutfoxx showed how to do it to get ea to fix it and jonseyplaysmadden showed you as proof people know how to dc glitch/desync. This is a real thing with video proof. However in this mut community the people don't care if it doesn't happen to them so the ones who this happens to have to deal with this alone. I was dc in my legends superbowl december 7th and ea help completely stopped responding to my emails. Currently right now im not getting xp or objectives done when I win in ranked and gauntlet games but when I lose it'll take away ranked points. The mods here can't help and all they can do is direct us to help.ea.com which in turn they don't help either.  So now I can just play other games like I already do and when I play mut I gotta remember the 90% chance im getting shafted after a game.

Please drop me some links to specific videos, i poked around a bit and cannot seem to find anything new, or particularly relevant.  I get it, the actual gameplay hasn't meaningfully changed in many many years, perhaps a ~decade or more, so i suspect it's safe to assume if things worked in previous versions of Madden, they'll potentially still work.  That being said, i've definitely heard Guttfox discuss the specific Desyncs caused by Film Study, that seemed to get slightly better by the end of M25, who knows.  Haven't had to (yet) deal with much Film Study in M26 cycle.  The n00bs and casuals love it, but stuff liek that has absolutely zero business being part of any online, H2H gaming titles -- at least not ones that hope to be fair, balanced and potentially even FUN.

EA no-Help is worse than useless, mods might as well come to our house and slap us right in the face, that'd be more helpful than suggesting we reach out to EA directly via those channels.  Aargh.
