Well that’s the issue right there they are probably run committing on top of it. But if you really want to run just call HB draw instead of inside zone and they will stop. You’ll get big run gains
It’s really not that bad besides the Nose tackle getting insta sheds randomly it’s kind of actually how it is in real life.
If you watch great Lbs especially back in the day like Ray Lewis, they would have a big nose tackle eat up blocks and stand behind them shooting the hole untouched to stop the run. As a ravens fan I’m sure you seen the highlights of him untouched hit sticking RBs before they even had control of the hand off.

sometimes if I notice he’s run committing i call the pass in gun heavy saint and which does well(Vick throws surprisingly really well as a HB)

Stuff like this makes it obvious people can't tell the difference between real football and Madden's failure to simulate football. When a middle linebacker -- any middle linebacker -- shoots a gap, the gap is there because the wrong line call is made. Plain and simple.
In Madden, I'm not given the tools to direct blockers to a primary and a secondary target. And so on any given down where I want to run Inside Zone, as should absolutely be my prerogative, my opponent can utilize a glitch in the coding to get a guy in untouched on a majority of snaps.
Shooting gaps as happens so often in Madden is unrealistic when compared with the league. In the league, it's because of an error. In Madden, it's because the blocking assignments are determined by inflexible coding and dumb AI.
I know it’s counter intuitive but how do you stop the run this year 😭😭😭
I made it up to hero running past seasons meta then lost 3 straight games to people running i-formation all game long
4-6 even and nickel big over g don’t have the sauce anymore. Maybe my user skills are washed but why am I giving up stretch/iso plays for 60+yd TDs

I get how gap shooting works I just wish I can tell my o line for a gaurd to go block the user and center and nose have a 1 on 1

I'm sure you can go find some nasally-voiced loser on YouTube who has extensively detailed how to run that garbage.
