I don't know if I'm enjoying the game at this point.

I keep logging in because I don't want the 700+ hours to be for nothing; but is there an END to the game?  It may end up being for nothing either way.

I like the teambuilding aspect of MUT, the grind, the constant need to tinker with your lineup, and the feeling of finally getting it right only to realize your team plays the same on the field.

I was away for a very long time, and lately, I've realized that I didn't miss much and that Madden is like the friend you haven't seen in years, but when you run into him, you realize he hasn't changed one bit; and he's still an asshole :)

I'm still playing M23 almost every day. The game sucks, no doubt. But I've had more fun playing the past year then any other time. I always have 30 mil in coins and I still do some team building. I'm ranked #8 and have never used a glitch play. There are still guys running glitch plays though. I might get M26 and start the grind again. Maybe...

I play less as the game gets more broken. Don’t care to do my dailies and the ranked rewards are boo-boo. I just like running around like a mad man and making plays with Lamar.

Played a lil kid on the mic today and the interaction was pretty wholesome. Ended up quitting out and giving him the win. There’s a few bright spots but emphasis on the few.

There must be something satisfying to M23, otherwise you wouldn't still be playing it.

I feel that way about games that give you a bit of nostalgia; like Final Fantasy, Metal Gear and ROT3K.

Some of these games are old, but I pick them up when I want to travel back in time :)

I had a similar experience in my first game on MUT H2H; I hadn't played Madden in almost 10 years and I was a bit nervous, didn't really know what to expect.

I couldn't figure out how to get the Mic to work, but I could hear the kid I was playing and he would get super excited every time he made a big play.  I heard his older brother come into the room and he was getting all sorts of support from his big bro; the kid ended up scoring the go-ahead TD with about 5 seconds left to play and he was in the middle of a celebration when I took the kickoff to the house...

I felt terrible, but I felt great not losing to a child and for getting my first win.

I like football, specifically NFL branded football.

The only thing i come back for is the love of football and greedy pos EA knows thats all 99% of us all do the same. But the past few years they have pushed so hard with their oblivious non-sense approach of greed without hiding it....to the point all I can do is resent the company and this game. Its a shame the one sport i love so much ties into this pos company. Its so bad anymore ive actually started to be pushed away despite my love of the game. They took everything good away and replaced it with lazy half ass effort(hell they even took away thanksgiving/harvest!) ontop of outrageous step up offers/horrible odd packs. Constant delays,constant glitches on "rewards", no communication with the community...they basically have a "fuck you pay us " attitude anymore and its disgusting. I usually participate in rookie premiere every year for the next mut but definitely have no interest this year because they fucked up releasing them the past two years.  Also it looks like they took a huge loss on some big name retired "player rights" this year as well, in which im glad the players are starting to say fuck you to EA as well. Hoping the NFL does the same in 2027.
