Besides the new lineup change, are there any major changes to abilities, etc from last year opening?
AGG catch is back, so tall receivers are elite.
Defensive line now has abililties for stunts 4 man fronts are best for this.
Most players use texas stunt or something similar with looping Dline men.
Make sure to make your blocking arrangements pre-snap. Often times 'empty' pass block works well, sometimes I switch to 'base' pass blocking.
Double Mug, Single Mug, is a lot of what you will see for defense.
You will also run to your occasional Mid Blitz cheesers.
Speaking of cheese, some weirdos like to run motion glitch plays. You will get familiar with those plays in time.
Thresholds for blocking are >85 for any RBK, RBF, RBP, PBK, PBF, PBP stat. Also route runnning >85, and Pass Throw stats.
Get a QB with >85 THP.
Welcome Back.
Good Luck!

Holy shit I wondered why I was getting more sacks in my face than Angela white this weekend. Thanks a lot. The stunts have been killing me online. I’m assuming the threshold thing is new and more like general blocks ie 85-90,90-95?
Thanks. I look forward to triggering a holes on here once again
Yes.
Most current Oline options will not have all 6 major block stats >85
>85 (run/pass block) stats 'hit' the lowest threshold per Mutleaks.
I value pass block stats over run block, so if I can find a card that has ALL 3 pass block stats >85, and possibly none or just 1 run block stat >85, I chose that card.
Obviously, 6/6 stats are best but those cards are rare in current game.
So, I look for cards with at least 4/6, 5/6 >85 block stats. Some of the 82 OVR team builders are very serviceable.
Yet, Oline Blocking thresholds are only one thing, you still have to adjust to your opponent's scheme.
Make pre snap passing assignments every play. You will get more familiar with time.
Best of Luck!
EA also somehow got even scummier. Everything is behind some sort of paywall

Yeah what’s up with the whole 1-3 cards per pack thing lol

Yeah I didn’t play 25 and after 24 I didn’t think EA could get any more greedy. It’s at a point rn where I’m genuinely getting irritated by some of the things they’re doing

PBP, PBF, and RBK are the most important ones. if ur lineman has higher PBF than the pass rusher's fmv when they do a finesse rush, ur lineman wins. same for pbp and pmv. if ur lineman has higher rbk than the dlineman's bsh on a run play, ur lineman will win. and like you mentioned the thresholds are key too
(once abilities come into play almost everything I just said goes out the window lmao)

When you say >85 for these thresholds, do you mean I want someone who is at least an 86 then? Or as long as they hit the 85?
