Hate to be that guy

I’m not trying to be the guy to come on the mut forums to talk about how ruined it is and yadayada. Played every year since madden 25 (a decade ago lol) I know it’s fucked and I still like it but this year I checked out about a month ago because it was so awful playing against unrealistic knockouts or guaranteed fumble abilities every single play. and then I’m so excited tonight that my packers drafted Matthew golden so I hop on mut gg and the cards have become an even bigger joke than I fear. We have a quarter of the games life cycle left and they are dropping 99 overall nba players and celebrities as wide receivers with every chem and 97s with baked on double me and yac em up 🫠🫠🫠im not begging them to stop with all the cheese because I know it’s their bread and butter. But I am 99% sure they would make more money if they were able to keep people like me spending money all year. Maybe start at 87 overall and release +1 overall cards monthly and the very last month can be this 99 SpongeBob and Patrick slop they are pushing now. Shame cause right now even if Matthew golden had every ability for free and 99 in every stat I wouldn’t be able to justify spending a penny trying to get him. Also the abilities that are present in like January maybe February should be endgame. AND REMOVE KNOCKOUTS FOR GODS SAKE IT TRIVIALIZES EVERYTHING.

The draft night promo has never really been that great outside of the top 10 or so picks. Last year's draft promo was a thousand times worse. The best rookies last year were offensive lineman lmao. KOs aren't even that powerful this year compared to last year. Go back and re-watch any MUT 24 video and tell me KOs are as bad. You should be thankful the game is not tempting you to spend money. I have barely played this game since PGA2k25 came out and it's been a blessing.

I played all of 24 probably logged like 800 hours I genuinely feel this is the most unplayable it’s ever been. KOs feel the same as always if you are touched by someone with a corresponding KO you will drop it. And they are worse than ever about dropping cards with the best X factors in the game as baked on abilities on every card for free so stats are no irrelevant  and all players feel the same. I’m fine with the draft cards my complaint is there is no reason to get them because of how insane the bar is. I read all the talk this year about nerfing KOs but it doesn’t feel real.
