Bro they get MAYBE 5k people to watch that stream, and it all lifers like you, between the prize money and all other expenses it is like the WNBA, it costs them money but they do it cause it'd be embarassing to not have any competitive gaming in this day and age and it is something corporate would want in development. If the game was good, well-balanced, and didn't have DDA, it would be 10x more popular.

The Madden team other then the guy who designs the cards, and the guy who does the programs like Zero Chill totally suck

I was wondering why EA didn't pull off an open-one-thousand-dollars'-worth-of-packs-to-get-Lamar-Jackson-type stunt prior to the MCS, as that definitely would have driven purchases. Perhaps they felt the optics of such a move would have been too damaging in the long term.

They are not making money on MCS dawg lol nobody watches that. The literal final has less views than some of my TikToks and i don't pay for thousands of dollars worth of advertising

Buddy I've done more sales and marketing in my lifetime than you'll ever dream of, I guarantee you they aren't making money on that lol not that many people play MUT and of those people even less actively watch MCS

Dawg it's not about kindness. Every major video game has a competitive series these days, EA is one of the biggest developers in the world they aren't gonna not have a competitive series for one of their flagship games. That doesn't make it successful. It is something they are going to continue to do because they want it ot be successful one day.

Okay? Your point? That isn't coming from the 3-5k people who watch MCS, y'all don't have 1.6 billion dollars. Also I would love to see the actual figures, not just what you asked AI, cause I am sure that includes more than just ultimate team modes, probably battlefield, apex legends, and whatever else they got. Majority of ultimate team revenue probably comes from Fifa

I have no idea. It's probably nothing compared with the people competing to qualify for the MCS. That's where the money is spent.

Yeah. The spectators are irrelevant, and I never explicitly made mention of them. They're probably the same people who watch Twitch like the much larger number of people who watch athletics.
