Ya I absolutely hate this shit. People just run the same defense and offense plays over and over and it makes me annoyed cuz I like to use lots of different formations and plays and I just can’t cuz i wont keep up online anymore unless I run meta. So I’m considering selling off my team buying RPs(when they release) and quitting til next year

Yea EA needs to separate the sweats and people who just want to have fun or something cause I’m over it and madden is deleted

I can deal with the ability shit, but playing against the same 3 formations that run the same 3 plays isnt fun at all. Like why even play.

I'm a big proponent of if they cant stop it why not keep running it? with that said... its while I run actual football concepts that can easily be countered by going from cover3 to cover 2 and things like that (which ppl refuse to do and its funny to see how long they let me do it for until they'll change)..... not broken rpo cheese plays over and over that you basically need to commit 9 of the 11 guys to stop.

I think if they get rid of the meta abilities then it will encourage actual tactics and formation switches rather than just sticking to one and relying on abilities

RPOs are the most broken mechanic. The fact that I need to make 10 different adjustments to have a chance at stopping a stock RPO stretch alert play is ridiculous. It's like they completely forgot to code the defense for it.

I agree completel. It’s not even that in concept rpos should be hard to stop. It’s the coding in the game that the “pass” is an option so the defense dumbs out and can get cooked on the stretch on every single play. You can do everything possible: shift d to the side the run is to, run commit to that side, and still they can break off long runs or one play tds even with “ability’s“ you should need to stop those plays like no outsiders, run stopper, secure tackler etc..that’s what pisses me off the mos….GG madden.

Yes, I’m sure NCAA will be nothing like Madden. It will be so different that you won’t even be able to compare it to Madden and it will be the bestest game ever…then you’ll wake up with the controller in your hand wondering where you went wrong in life
