in madden tho, people base align. The ability to start your reads before the snap against base align is what Omaha allows
I understand that, regardless of base aligning, you should be able to identify the defense as soon as the ball is snap by determining whether the safeties rotate or not and then what the corners do all within 1-2 seconds of the ball being snapped.
Not for me. I’ve played MUT the last 4 years religiously. Every morning I wake up and bow down to the market. If I wake up for a piss in the middle of my sleep, I check the market for a snipe. MUT is far from over but I’ve a totally different plan for M26 than I’ve had for previous years if madden.
The plan for M26 is to not get it until it’s free on game pass lmao. So I’m playing MUT25 , all 99s, until then.
So it’s far from over…. i WANT to play with all the abilities on the field. Figuring out how to beat each and every one of you spammers.
Omaha is an actual ability that actual irl QBS have. They know the defense. BUT, it can be easily negated by continuously audibling your defense and good switch stick.
Omaha is by no means a good reason to quit this football game. It just screams “I could never handle playing against manning or Brady” and as a Jaguar fan I know all too well what it’s like to lose to a mind reader.
For 10 years I watched manning pick apart defenses with ease because he knew what coverage they were in. The trick to beat it is to bluff coverages and go away from your usual play calling.
For example irl, if you’re playing a Omaha type qb you need to bluff coverages and go against your traditional playcalling because they know what you are “gonna do” based of scouting reports but you can 100% trip them up with bluff alignments and constantly audibling your D play so they don’t know what you’re running.
Is it tough? Oh hell yes. Is real football against the greatest QBs ever tough? Lmao, you have no idea.
All you crying about madden abilities, mishaps, broken plays, etc… wouldn’t make it IRL coaching .
my real issue with omaha is it's ability to also see your defensive adjustments. if you wanna see what shell i come out in presnap, be my guest, but i should be able to bait you back.

Without playing right now I can tell you your opponent is probably running cover 4, cover 3 and/or a loop blitz more often than not. If they're lined up on your guys and follow your motion it is probably man lol.
Omaha doesn't break much of anything and if someone loses to someone using Omaha it probably isn't because if the ability alone.
Just play your game and don't worry about your opponent seeing what you're in, they still have to beat it and if anything, you can use it to bait them. Switch stick your hearts out.

Yeah I’m in the RPG boat atm…. The fact that the d-line is at the mercy of every single play and you have to pick up a specific player for said OL and running back with size is just flat out horrible

right, and omaha means you can no longer disguise or base align. And in real life, there's much more variety, primarily because offensive coordinators are much much better at football knowledge than the average madden player
