That's where my opinion comes from.   In the grand scheme of abilities and x factors gameplay, this just isn't a big deal.   Soon we will have mind reader as well. 

I will beat players who use both abilities more often than not and when i lose to the good players who use the abilities, I won't blame Omaha and mind reader, the player would have most likely beat me without those either way, they're just better. 

I want a simulation football game like the rest of you, unfortunately we won't get it unless someone is allowed to compete and make one.   Until then we just have to not play madden at all or accept the fact it's an arcade game operating under the guise of a simulation license.

My thoughts exactly, I'll be pissed when mind reader is a passive, but other than that, reading a defense is very easy

That is, indeed, the nature of cheese plays coupled with dominant lineups. The poor guys running Film Study still have to do seventeen things before the snap to stop that RPO nonsense.

Omaha does way more than Film Study. It's not even close. Paired with omnipresent Omniscience, and you can see pretty much everything the opponent is doing when you run four or five wideouts.

It barely belongs in the game as an earned X-Factor, should never start on, and should never, ever, EVER be an ability.

im talk from the point of a normal, non-cheesey play out of the most ethical offense. if i have a play that works every time and gets solid yards im going to keep running it until you adjust and stop it. all of the play art abilities/XFs are still stupid IMO, takes away the whole skill gap and guessing game. only one im fine with is omniscient since QBs and oline can sometimes tell who is blitzing and who isn't

"Ethical".

What are they failing to do that should stop you? Appropriate personnel packages? Spamming zero-cover blitzes? We're assuming you're not playing against complete knuckleheads.

Patriots Y Off Trips Pats, most ethical offense in the game. 5 yard gains after 5 yard gains. either they aren't covering the flats, leave the TE corner open, TE whip open, etc. sometimes when they adjust it just opens up another route to get open

You should be able to identify coverages regardless…without Omaha….in real life….its the same in madden.

Middle of the field open or closed? Depth of corners. That’s all the info you need. Then watch safeties for post snap reads. Do they rotate? Why is everyone making a big deal about this…

Because knowing where the cornerbacks are assigned to go before the snap is far different from predicting where the cornerbacks may go after the snap.

Yeah, you read the safeties without Omaha. Not the same as knowing what half of the opponent's CPU-controlled players are going to do.

99% of every player runs Cover 4 cheese loop blitz and if they don’t they are in the 1 percent and run man then Omaha is irrelevant
