For those of you who are still playing MUT 23… Why?

Hi guys this is my first forum post on Mutgg so cut me some slack if it’s all over the place. 
 

Personally I checked out of MUT 23 when EA dropped the 6ap update and raised TVP price before the timer ran down. Well thats not completely true i played 1 game post patch and ripped 3 mill in packs. But with the state of the market And horrible pack odds I was priced out of the game when i’ve had the best team in the game since September. I had 6 Million before the AP Update and TVP change and 2 Million training. I lost all of it and only pulled 3 of the lowest value GTs. Almost all of my coins came from H2H or the Egg Glitch day. 

There is absolutely no way to make coins. Non GTs are taking 12-24 hours to sell and sometimes they don’t sell at all. Paying $ for special bundles is the only way. 

So are you guys spending the money? Do you have coins left over because of the glitches? Do you have a drive to get on anymore? Why are you still playing? I would like any if not all of these questions answered.

I also want to know if this change by EA this has put doubts into anyone’s head in the MUT or Mutgg community on Madden 24. There will be a poll below.

Will you guys buy the game day 1??  Personally I have been a day 1 buyer since Madden 25. I have out a lot of time into playing Madden ultimate team and have become a great player in my own right (im not MCS) i just had a very good record this year and im feeling good about my Madden skills after this year. I know EA has always been a money hungry company... But this year there were too many obvious ploys by EA to drain coins from the community (due to EAs screw ups). They changed the AP scale right before GTs so that they would automatically be the best cards in the game. This along with the TVP price killed the rest of the market. You could pull a 99 out of the pro endgame elite pack and still lose coins because of how much they raised pack prices. Madden has always been fun for me but this year they drained all of the fun out of the game along with the coins for a couple more $ on their pack sales. 
 

Also anyone who says the AP change was for gameplay is just blind. If that was the case they would have made the change before the Final MCS tourn. But let me know your thoughts and opinions pls!

Out of habit I guess?  I mean I play way less.  Maybe 10 minutes every other day just to finish challenges and keep my team up to date.  One of my favorite things to do this time of year is log into previous maddens and see how my lineups finished there etc.  Once final fantasy 16 comes out I’ll just finish up rookie premiere and be done until 24

Because its a football game and the only one with NFL rights? It is pretty toxic right now to play online in MUT, but it has forced me to be better...so....

are you going to play 24?  

the AP change was to balance gameplay imo. if they wanted cash they would have left it the same imo.  GT prices would be higher if we had 12 AP to use.

Also, say, not sure how deep blues get ran by so easily...Lots to fix with the game but I dont think theyll fix it. The deep blues get ran by so you have to have "deep KO" ability. Just how theyre making the game...

All these live session games are ending so I have nothing else to play

I'm still playing and will be an early release participant when the new one comes out. Why? I think the game is fun.  I do not tie my enjoyment to wins or losses...so folks running META or "glitching" things don't impact me...I just enjoy building the team and playing online with folks from all around the world.  As for my team...I have a high 98 (most of my backups are 99) and about 15m coins...I have not bought a single pack since Christmas (spent about $250 on packs prior to that).  I don't rip coin or training packs...so my coin stack stays fairly safe.  Hope the new game brings us some updates...but if it don't...I'm still gonna have fun with it.

Why not?

I love football and I like H2H. However, I don't plan on getting M24. EA made a ton of mistakes this year and show no signs of changing.

Because I want to. It's as simple as that.

I'll definitely buy Madden 24 cause the beginning is the best time to play MUT and to bust open packs also I'll finally be on new gen for 24 so it should be a new experience vs old gen and dealing with the FG block glitch 😆. I absolutely love that first month of the new Mut year before every card has 99 speed and everyone has a loaded team. Cant wait to see what new stuff they have in line for Madden 24,hope it's great.
