I feel like there are too many anecdotes for DDA to not exist. And there is too much RNG where there shouldn't be any.
I mean u have a good chance of having a FG from that distance blocked. Don't really see DDA here imo

the blocking animation should only be triggered if two things happen
1. I screw up the accuracy of the kick.
2. the defense jumps the snap perfectly
i did not mess up the accuracy or power. it was a 58 yard field goal and should have been just fine.

Looks like your number 2 came into play so you should be good.
As a tip going forward, when you're kicking a fg, hold the button on the accuracy meter, this will delay you taking the kick into you release the button.
This should help you with people being able to time your meter and jump the snap as you cab else the button anyone you want up to 3s left as it will auto kick at 3s even if you don't release.
You all are missing the part where the ball is snapped, and the kicker is just standing there. If the snap is bobbled, fine; that happens in real football. The point is that this just has no place in a competitive football game. He lost on a coin-flip, not skill.
