1WR on a drag, Te on the other side aswell, slot WR on a post. Something will get open. Its not that hard.

This assumes quite a lot out of limited information provided. One that I don't already know this route combo or didn't already do it, and another that it was the issue to begin with, or that it's "not that hard".  But getting smacked in 1 or 2 seconds, even if a guy gets open, it doesn't mean you will get the throw off. That's if you see it in time to begin with. Maybe you also assume I run bunch or something (I don't) and it works a bit better there. Or that my OL isn't an issue which it might be - I'm NMS but I don't ignore the trenches. I got 86 Nabers as a BND reward, upgraded Ward and picked up 81 Engram so I think my receivers are good enough but there are whales doing this crap who are covering these guys with top tier cards as well.

Sure, one could throw in a case of git gud but both MCS events or whatever, all I saw those guys doing was mid blitz the entire game whenever I actually watched, other than Fancy running dollar. So no, I don't think it's "not that hard" if the top Madden players can get as far as they do, which is past the entire community of online MUT players, just by running mid blitz all game every game.

If all of the win-at-all-costs players run the same plays repeatedly, said plays are broken.

Period. End of story. No apologies to be made, and little merit to any claims of counters, other than that said counters are plays-of-last-resort.

Yeah that person who made that reply probably isn't worth my time but meh, everyone deserves a second chance to learn in life right? I also type around 120 WPM so it isn't really as much effort for me as it might look.

Anyway one answer I personally like that I didn't do in the last couple games I ran into this was running 12 personnel with Manhertz (who doesn't have him as a BND at this point) and block with him, possibly while in motion or someone else in motion. THAT will theoretically counter it in somewhat off meta fashion but they also may not call mid blitz against wing stack or wing slot.

I've won games running the ball like that, but it's a very RNG-dependent way to play, and I often find that the people who cheese also have lineups that grossly outclass mine, swinging the RNG factors heavily in their favor. I'll take the lead, and then their offense will take the field, and they'll score a touchdown and convert for two points on a cheesy wide-open zig route or pick concept. It's hard to win when you either have to glitch every play or play the game straight, knowing your players will let you down again and again.

At this stage, playing MUT with an actual football scheme against a cheeser and winning requires a ridiculous amount of favorable random chance.

I hear you. Running the ball vs mid blitz IS very RNG dependent. I have gone as far as calling mid blitz against goal line or heavy and it still stops them pretty reliably. Unless they run a toss or maybe a stretch but even then sometimes they can get in as quickly as smacking the QB before they even complete a handoff.

Again, I am NMS, haha..but we also get cards like Crosby upgraded, Ojulari, Deablo BND, Derwin, etc (blitz with fast guys up the middle in those A gaps lol) and that free 85 DT from GT so everyone and their mother should be strong at this with little to no significant investment required.

Oh yeah, also, I'm saying call wing stack or wing slot, or maybe gun ace depending on playbook, to PASS the ball, not run the ball, in case that was unclear. The idea is to have the extra blocker and/or another big body out there to throw to sometimes. Again with using free resources, Manhertz is a bit of an underrated card. He functions well as an extra blocker in situations that call for it. It's better than having check down specialist CMC block for you if nothing else.
