Ive heard that this card is cracked. But things Ive been hearing is that he is literally the best wr in the game. I just am confused what makes him so good besides height and speed. For example, Ladd Mconckey. He is 1 speed slower than him and shorter. However, all his other stats are just miles better. Can ya'll explain to me how Donte Thornton with literally 61 cth, 70 drr and 68 jmp can just moss dbs better than most if not any other reciever in the game and get open a decent amount of time as well? Is he like glithced or something? Are his stats so low that he plays much better? Idk
Got him in my twitch pack today.
Easiest 100k I've ever made.
hes tall and fast, you said it yourself. Aggs are way overtuned rn and he's the best agg catcher itg

So even with other tall recievers... he is simply just better at mossing
All tall, fast WRs should be comparable. He's just the tallest and fastest at the moment.
TO would be next most dominant. Same speed but 2 inches shorter.

yup. For reference though he is 6'5 so hs 5 inches taller than ladd. The two best recievers rn are thornton on a TT and maxed out Tee Higgins who's 6'4

I see. Thank you
The only attributes that matter are physical ones and abilities.
Tall, fast is all you need, the rest is animations.
there were some tests done by players some maddens ago that showed that height actually effects spd.
example a 6' 5" with 86 spd is going to get to 40 yards downfield quicker then 5' 11" with 86 spd. accel being same for both.
the tests show longer stride does matter.
madden doesnt change much between years im sure its the same way.
i pulled thornton early and used him for a little bit he cooks ended up selling for a chunk but he does play good.

Perhaps, but Madden did go through a pretty big overhaul on player movements with the current gen systems. I'd wager height no longer has anything to do with speed.
I haven’t done any tests but I’ll say this, while he has made some great plays for me I’ve noticed that even at 6’5” and 86 speed sometimes you can hold, spam, or perfectly time the triangle button and he WILL NOT JUMP. It’s quite aggravating and has cost me a few plays that were crucial.. just sayin
