Does it feel like ELO got turned up in Ranked?

In Seasons 1 and 2 I breezed to Champion no problem.  Probably faced easy opponents two out of every three games.

This season since making Hero II I have run into an absolute wood chipper.  Maxed out God Squads nine of the last ten games including several Top 100 players.

Is this the new norm for matchmaking, did the easy marks quit plying Ranked or am I just having an unlucky run?

I feel the same way lol glad im not the only one.  I dropped from winning 70% to barely over .500 😢

If you’re having trouble the later you climb the ladder the more bads you play because a lot of top guys stop at champion so you face more early on

There is no Elo in ranked this year. It’s all random

victorious yesterday but got spanked today. i faced 2 top 100 players and i lost both on me missing fgs.  seems like evryone wants that rg3

I don’t buy it. I’m now 30-27 after losing 14 of my last 15 games. All demons.

Are you sure? Feels like there is no way this is true. I’ve played each season and getting to hero is always a breeze, then it gets noticeably more difficult. Like this season I went like 20-4 or something then right before hitting champ lost two in a row against super sweats

I’m positive there is no Elo this year. Go look at the MCS guys records in ranked. They have records of like 100-5. If those guys where playing other guys in their Elo they would have more than a few loses. I’ve also heard a few top players on twitch say there is not Elo this year.

There is zero Elo in Ranked. 

I made it to Top 100 Sunday with a 17-1 run versus teams and players that were nowhere near Top 100. 

My son plays like seven games a month and gets matched up against goons every other game in Ranked.
