Lol people doing double mug all game and changing their offensive play at line of scrimmage is hardly a chess match

How do you make money playing?
peatrick said:Whenever i run out of things to do in MUT, i tend to take out my frustrations beating up on n00bs and other random scrubs via the Playstation Tournaments. The competition is fairly weak, so it's trivial to stack enough of those $5 gift cards to pay for my next game. Although there's tons of grifters and shit just wasting people's time, be aware. It also helps me to meet some newer players, so anyone who acts liek a real human being and shows even mild interest in the game of football, i try to bend over backwards to help share team building (or general football tips / Madden knowledge).
The broader community is and remains toxic as hell. Ranked play has been absolutely miserable, especially lately. I have no desire to suffer through three or four dozen games for a Cornerback who will be outdated by the time we get him in our binder. Not making that mistake again. I used to "fear" those Top 100 teams / uniforms, but i've quickly discovered it's NOT the dudes who are amazing at the game who manage to climb that Leaderboard, it tends to be dudes who figure out how to play 300-400+ games in a cycle that find their way up there. I simply cannot compete with unemployment. Maybe they've got that one cheese play they rely on to propel them to victory, but calling the same stupid RPOs or double-pass and hoping to trick most morons isn't fun for me, as you originally pointed out.
We're officially in MUT Season, but simultaneously have run out of things to do. It's going to get worse before it gets any better.
Haven’t played one of those might have to check it out

I fully covered the cost of last/this year's (Madden 25) game through these little five dollar gift cards. It's not going to make anyone rich, but it at least allows me to create my own mini goals or gives something to actually play for when I run out of stats to grind. Been done with Season 5 for a few days now, not feeling this cycle of Ranked, not falling for that nonsense again. I was super hyped about the Isaiah Simmons (MLB) last cycle, figuring it'd be a minute before we got another tall, fast USER with decent ability stack (meaning discounted MZKO) -- only to he greeted with old man Ray Nitzschke that dropped within a matter of 2-3 days... who got a vastly superior ability stack.
Anyway, by the time that 6'3" Cornerback gets released, i'm sure we'll have cards that are way better. And i can't compete with unemployment, so I suffer no delusions thinking i'd be able to attain the Calvin Johnson Top100 rewards. YMMV, but that's how i'm trying to create my own fun. I might be a touch late, but debating selling my team. MUT Season is just kicking off and the game is feeling so stale already. Just not feeling the Gencki stuff, especially not when it's basically just a clone of last year. Boring, but EA isn't ever going to be guilty of doing any actual work. Hence why we'll be seeing another Kyle Pitts drop. I already paid for many of these cards last year, or the year before... bleh.
Good luck. The PSN Tournament play can be rather buggy, I lose more games through crashes/freezes/glitches than I do from the actual competition. Although I had to sweat out a handful this weekend, but still managed to secure $85 worth of gift card increments, way ahead of schedule this year. Typically i don't dive into this stuff until May or June.

cfms, lotta pros/guys right under the level play cfms, pot prizes can range from a grand to 5k. Players lounge mut tournaments as well

My WiFi cheeks might desync me every game

I cannot promise this will actually help improve your situation, but you could attempt the following (assuming you are close enough to your wireless access point / router to support the 5GHz WiFi band)... if you are more than 1-2 rooms away from that WAP, you may be better off utilizing the 2.4GHz band. We had to tinker with this stuff for a squad mate not that long ago, he was getting MAD disconnects/Desyncs, etc.
Hop into your Network Settings, then search for the following:
Network > Settings > Set Up Internet Connection. Hover over your current network, then press the Options button and choose Advance Settings > Wi-Fi Frequency Bands. Switch the option from “Automatic” to “5 GHz” and you’re set.”

I might have lost a ton of times (and probably dished out enough power for many others to buy as many 96 players as they could ever want), but I actually find the 6 v 6 game refreshing. The main problem that EA needs to do for these online games is to have more that are short. I also like it strangely if the rewards are not overpowering as it keeps out the sweats (most of those on this Board :) ).
I wish they would’ve gave us a normal football mode I spend all this time and money building an ultimate team just to not be able to use half my lineup or run the ball… just my opinion I loved the superbowl event so much fun hate 6 on 6 want 11 on 11
I play h2h. Upgrading your team for solos is pointless.

I understand, but still find this mode fun. There are more than enough modes for 11v11. I just used a separate lineup and included my BHM players as backups (not as part of the 6v6) and found that I could get most of their agendas done. It also allowed me to set up abilities for players just for this game. At least to me, it seems all players have the same speed so I just put in WR Tom Brady (had to buy him just for this mode) and he really makes things interesting when it comes to the 2-pass TDs. I still cannot figure out how to hike the ball directly to a WR on the side. It does that on some plays, but not sure how or why or how to control it.

Connected Franchise Mode? I've never done that, do you bring in your MUT Team to it? I'm assuming there is a buy in - where do you find information on this type of thing or is it not allowed to be discussed on here?
GameAce92 said:So it's Sunday right? No football..just kinda hanging out..seems like a perfect day to play some MUT/CUT..except I've done all my weekly objectives until reset..so the will to play strangely isn't there. Which brings me to my topic: do you guys play this just to play it? I know there are H2H rewards/House Rules, etc..but is it REALLY worth it if you arent advancing a field pass? I feel like I'm putting time into a game for little to nothing since they gate keep XP now..maybe it's just me.
I spent time in Practice to get better.
