Any suggestions on how to defend double passes in 6on6 would be appreciated. Waiting for them to make a mistake only covers a portion of the players.

Defense in that mode is pretty hit or miss because it just seems like a very arcade-y version of the game. I usually run man with the spy and start the play on the spy. As soon as I see somebody run behind the line of scrimmage I switch stick to that defender. Then the spy will immediately go run at the QB. It's not perfect, and sometimes they'll just throw a streak and dunk on you. But that's just the game mode
Thank you. I’ll give it a shot. With man you always have to be on the look at for leaving their OS WR uncovered. I have fumbled trying to get over there more than a few times!
Same concept with zone, just switch stick to cover whomever you think is getting open.
I run goal line man blitz a lot and when they try the double pass more often than not they get sacked behind the line before they can get the pass off. Half the time they manage to get the pass off it is errant anyway.
Thank you. I will give this one a try as well.
Man Coverage. However, habitual double passers can also bait your defenders into crossing the line of scrimmage, allowing the quarterback massive holes to run through.
You’ll have to switch up your defense, and win a sequence of Roshambo throws.
There’s a lot I hate about the mode, but there are some things I do like about it. Playing it does feel like I’m beta testing a game that needs refinement at every facet, and yet it has a frenetic pace that really makes it unique. If Tofu no Shiitake had better balance to it, and didn’t have so many situations that were broken out of the gate, I might have liked it more than I liked last year’s Tug-of-War mode.
