Maybe this. I know months ago there was a mode that favored getting the ball second because it had weird scoring where you could subtract from what your opponent had already scored. I don't think I ever went back and changed the settings.

You have absolutely no idea how much i respect and appreciate taking this position.  Wish i had half the balls you do, my good sir.  I'm hopelessly and helplessly addicted, but trying oh so very hard to not preorder M26.  I'm fully expecting there to be at least minimal effort put forth this year, but only as a result of their exclusivity agreement with the NFL being in jeopardy.  At the very least, i hope the NFL takes a wait and see approach.

We all deserve so much better for our nearly hundred dollars annually.  I was really dumb enough to think i was signing up for a modern fatball simulation experience, what a mess this has been.

Same here. If DDA didn't exist and the game is just poorly made (which it is) then both players should experience similar actions or mistakes in the same game. However, many, many games it's  obvious one side is favored. Just played a champs game where my o-line was swiss cheese. I mean instant sheds like crazy. My o-line has everything you could ask for in secure protector, all-day, etc. I made adjustments with line shifts and even left my RB in to help. Barely had time to get a flat route get out.

Then on top of that. I shade my players correctly and make the right defensive adjustments. They get cooked by taking bad angles, act super slow, and drop easy picks with  lurk/pick artist. Had a play where Ed Too Tall (Safety) was on a corner route and could pick it off but just stops and let's the WR catch it. So why didn't the other guy experience of any this "bad game design"? Not a shot at anyone but I firmly believe there's a system of some sort influencing many games. Not all..but many of them.

Interesting, I'll have to try changing it to receive first, didn't think kickoff preferences would affect house rules.

I'm kinda confused now, which kick setting would be affecting who gets the ball first in house rules then? Or is it just determined by who is the home team?

What people blame so they feel better about their loss's . If DDA was real then it would benefit them as much as hurt them and also doesn't explain why Pros win 97 percent of their games . Also not  sure how anyone  would ever win an Gauntlet or a House rules if it actually existed . With that being said I'm ok with the DDA  believers if it makes  them feel better about their loss's .

So maybe him fumbling was 3 times in one drive was DDA  trying to help you  , but you were not able to take advantage of the computer help .

Now hear me out. I don’t think EA would go to the lengths to put Dynamic Difficulty Adjustments in their game. Rather, I think the game is just shit and the way it was coded is pathetic. I’ve had my fair share of games where literally everything goes my opponents way, but outside the heat of the moment I think the game itself just sucks. It is coded so bad that it can be simply miserable to watch people get rewarded for playing miserably. But I don’t think that’s DDA, I think that’s just a bad game.

Anyways, I do empathize with your annoyance. I wish that EA would take the time to make a good game instead of a dogshit one, but here we are again. Good luck fighting your opponent and your own players.
