Content creators are ruining MUT

No offense to anybody but i have no clue how any adult can sit there and watch another adult yell and be obnoxious while they play or open packs. It's bad enough that we play it, you're gonna sit there and watch other people play it while they act like a complete clown?

I agree with most of your points here but hitting them where it hurts, their pocket, can make a difference.  Look at Budweiser for example.  Their marketing campaign didn't work, they took a huge financial hit from it and they changed their behavior.  

Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with their marketing campaign, is irrelevant so please don't hijack this post on the politics of this campaign.

The point is that consumer behavior can make a change.  Yes, the last time we did a pack strike in '22.  It was heard but they really didn't change, because they were thriving financially.  Now their business is down and hitting them financially on this title would weaken them even more making them more likely to listen to their customers.  

The only other option here is to do nothing, but then I want to stop hearing people complain about the game if you aren't willing to do anything about it.  It's shut up or put time.

THIS. I genuinely think a Pack Strike again could do wonders for the future of this game, cause right now, all of us, content creators included are pretty much just bending over and letting them do whatever they want. It's ridiculous. Imagine if during the year of the pack strike EA came out with $800 STEP OFFERS!?!?! This community would have actually committed crimes man. 🤣😂

Content creators need to realize something, to fix something that is happening now or even the past, it won’t just fix automaticly and something has to change, which is not spending money or at least spending less money not 50$+ every video 

And they can still have a successful career not spending money 

example: lets compare swift vs itsdom 

swift has more subs, he is NMS, little less views then itsdom but close, provides helpful insight per video 

itsdom: clickbait’s 80% of his videos, spends at least 100$ a video, yet has 30k subs less then swift 

Then theres other creators like zirksee, CC, guttfox to show if the pack is worth it. If it is “worth it” that makes the views want to spend their money on something that wont be worth doing spending a lot of money on a virtual game

I like watching guys like Kinny and Bordeaux who mostly do Franchise/Road to Glory/Dynasty content in MUT/CUT at this point. I still watch Zirksee but mostly just for pack and play at this point.

It's extremely weird and if every "content creator" went out of business tomorrow, i wouldn't shed a tear.

theyre playing a game and spending money on a game that most kids don't spend 200$ in a weekend on packs so they're entertained

those step offers are just inexcusable for EA

we went from 50$ bundle for a small chance at a really good pull to 800$ for a better chance and better stuff but no one who has a brain is spending 800$

A couple years back CC posted a video at the end of the year showing exactly how much he spent during the season.  I don't recall the number but it was somewhere between $11k-$15k...he was quick to advise folks to not follow his example.  He broke down why he spends so much...basically he was spending it so we wouldn't (as he was quick to point out it is a bad idea) and that he gets paid to spend that money (subscribers, advertisements...I have no clue).  From that point on I considered him to be the one of the most honest of the lot (not saying all the others are not honest...but CC did seem to be very transparent).

he can spend that money because he is making it and he gets to write off what he spends as a "business expense" once he does his taxes.

I'm almost at the point where I might not buy it next year....I did that with 2K 2 years ago because I was fed up with them increasing VC prices year after year and making MyTeam worse and worse. And I haven't even PLAYED either of the last two games, it's sad but better than playing it. And I just don't want to witness a 3rd Sports trading card game that I play get killed.... (Madden Mobile+2K)
