Collectors Series Chems

Ok, excuse my old a$$ but can someone explain how these chems work? 

For example:  If I wanted to use Shoelace on a non Jags TT what would I need to boost his speed? from the collectors series? (not including crystals)

You would need 50/50 collectors which will boost speed +1. Currently that’s the only speed boost on non theme team

The new AKA CS cards also give a speed bump when you collect 6,9,12, etc. It boosts all stats plus height as well but goes away later next month. It’s expensive but super fun. There is a write up on this site that explains everything (AKA series). This also combines with the 50/50 boosts.
