i consider myself a madden vet been thru the wars. i can still to this day roll wioth my them teams with fav players<. EA needs to support both online and solo players more. its huirts the community really not everyone wants to battke those that compete such as myself. EA needs to support the solo game playes more even if it nerfs a lil to make solo battles harder.

This team costs just over 22M coin. This early in the game?! That's INSANE. These cards will be obsolete in a month or two.
Will we see a 10M card by the end of this MUT?
For the record, this (https://www.mut.gg/25/lineup-builder/0a376450-452a-4ebd-8233-07472059298b/) is the most expensive team. I built it prioritizing next gen consoles (Xbox Series X and PS5) which totals out to over 75 million coins per console. Just absurd before even the Super Bowl.

I wish I was playin MUT during those times. I heard I missed out baaaad
I have suspected and assumed all year that cards would eventually get to 10M coins by the time we see Golden Tickets, if not earlier. 5 months into the game we were seeing CB Moss sell for 6M+ coins. He was a 94. Cards are going to get better and Whales will accumulate more coin.
I used to thank god that MUT wasn't FIFA. Not anymore. Madden 21 was probably the peak from a MUT standpoint. That offseason was awesome- so much content, the introduction of the TVP, power ups still, Weekend League, real Solo Battle Rewards, trophies, NATs that could go into sets. I remember Gridiron Guardians gave probably half a dozen champions (through set pieces) just from playing the game. House Rules weren't such a damn grind and gave good rewards. Small Easter Eggs gave 98s. It was a great time. It could have been better for sure, but the difference since they introduced the passes has just been night and day. They took so much of the fun and the freedom of choice out of MUT and I just don't know why. I'm sure they still made plenty of money back then.

MUT is producing record revenue, its not struggling.
Been playing since M18, so not nearly as long as most of you, but I remember there always being really expensive cards. Vick was always $$$, Barry and Bo were usually up there.
I think there are definitely more $$& cards than their used to be but I think a lot of that is due to EA releasing more content but way fewer cards. Plus, like was said above, odds seem especially bad this year.
Abilities changed things too, imo. Everything is driven by abilities since they added them. I’m sure EA has some crafty mofos whose sole jobs are to determine how to extract the most money from us. somehow it’s working too, even with garbage gameplay and everything else that’s broken in the game. And we just accept it (myself included, not trying to bash anyone) and figure out workarounds since they rarely actually fix anything. The most we seem to be able to hope for is that they don’t break five other things while trying (and failing) to fix the first thing.
I’ll stop rambling now. It’s just depressing that they make us eat shit (if we want to play a football video game) every year and we just tolerate it. Ok for real done now.

They do seem to be geared heavily towards hitting numbers laid out in the contract as a means of securing an extension to their exclusive contract and the future of the franchise seems to be directly tied to those numbers. Despite what may be record revenues. My opinion is that we are in a make or break time for the franchise and EA is dropping the ball continuously. More importantly the NFL seems to feel that way.
It could also be argued that the market strategies employed by EA to drive prices and get people to continuously reinvest $$ into the game are not only responsible for the MUT inflation we are seeing but also the record revenues you referred to. If employed with the right “number manipulation” it could convince shareholders everything is ok and maybe even the NFL itself. Looks more like scrapping for your life to me.
edit: Damn, I had a real chance to use the word imploy instead of employ.
Reason: Sadness

Literally the only thing that matters is revenue. I have heard this same argument for years, and its only increased and got more popular.

You are right. A horse of course. I just don’t think executives at EA or the NFL see record profits and are satisfied. They only see the missed dollars. There may be a lot of missed revenue despite records being set. How, who and what helps me get those doll hairs is what I would be asking.

Well well well, they just downgraded their forward earnings guidance and lost alot of market share today, they said it was because of the Football FC game though
