This is why I haven’t won a solo season game in months. Found out stats count win lose or disconnect so I just get the stats I want to rack up and quit. Sometimes I try to go for gold and play the entire game to rack up stats for XP, but once EA pulls some bitch shit I just quit. Start a new solo season game. It’s all the same in the end.
Good day
I’m glad someone made a topic about this. I myself was scratching my head especially when I chose all strategy cards, mostly the gold ones and thought that my team was going to be extremely good due to those strategy cards one of them said +20 man coverage and others that showed excellent boosts but once in the game my team played no different than when I was in seasons .
I’m really beginning to think that stats in this game are all for show and are not all registering what are being shown to us
The cpu skill has definitely been turned up alin all modes offline. My 98 team plays horribly. I had to start using the c p u coach, play calls and user, either a lineman or a middle linebacker and then try and force a fumble after they catch it.
I also have found that zone plays are better against the cpu than spamming mid blitz now. They made it so they're gonna burn you unless you're very, very aggressive and completely one hundred percent perfect on your stick work in usering someone on the field.
I like to pick a zone play with one rusher, and then use that rusher to cover the tight end or any open space at snap. That sometimes forces the c p u to go on the fritz.

Also, always make sure in the draft you get the + height card and never pick any of the players. I changed to Stafford in the second round and he is doing great.
Great advice, thanks for taking the time 😁
This thing was way harder than needed to be to go 13-0. I managed to do it with dive play runs up the middle and mesh passes when they stopped the run. Over and over with these two plays.
This is going to sound insane but you can literally call any coach suggestion zone play, make sure your user is on the d line, I usually do dt, and don't play at all
You'll get stops or ints like crazy because the CPU is coded to avoid your user at all costs but will throw to your CPU defenders no problem.
I just call the coach suggestion zone defense play and let the CPU do it's thing so I can do other stuff while playing like watch something.

This is Gold 🪙
Thanks 🙏
nail the gold strat cards and team chem cards in draft first…if you arent dominating w the drafted cards in the first game just restart the event
and beware it’ll disconnect and give you a loss at times
I was going 9-0 and when the tenth game ended everything was going well I won it but for some strange reason when I left the game I magically lost it this happened to me twice and the truth is disgusting and I didn't play it anymore
I've seen over the past months that EA crowdsources offensive and defensive play calls. I rarely saw RPO calls by the CPU early in the year. I started seeing them more often as the year went on. The CPU now calls RPO's at a rate of what feels like one out of every three plays, and sometimes back-to-back. And they're just as broken as when humans do them.
(Note to EA: If everyone's calling the same twenty plays when there are hundreds to pick from, it's a signal that folks found broken stuff. You clearly know what's happening here; do you understand what's happening here?)
I play CPU as an alternative to playing humans that do nothing but call the game's cheat plays. Now I can enjoy a game that's more a blend of 50% human cheating and 50% mania-mode difficulty where the CPU's players are in clutch form every play. The 21-17 win I just eked out was so full of RNG crime, and it was only Game 6.
Is anyone else finding that their ball carriers run 'sticky' in this mode, even more than in previous modes? My Super Bowl Marshawn Lynch has 92 COD, but he's got next-to no agility. TotY Collection Reggie Bush is barely better. No one has breakaway speed on the rare event that there's a wide-open running lane.
My offensive linemen are being absolutely bullied, and I'm not at all able to lean on the running game like I could a week ago. And this lineup is waaaaaaay superior to the one I fielded then.

To me it felt a lot different once I got to game 6 and the non-baked on abilities went away. Having Larry Allen at RG helped a ton trying to run the ball. Also using Alstott at RB has been pretty solid but that Super Bowl Lynch was also nice when I did the CPU event for TOTY because he kept his Freight Train.
I have been running through these CPU games with Inside Zone out of Gun Normal Y Off. I run this play probably 95% of the time just chewing clock. I will audible to some slants if they stack the line.
