Not saying it's the unit. Just saying that resetting the unit was what Madden needed. It's been obvious that EA can't code.
I've been having constant "Error Connection" log-in issues since January with this game. Even doing direct ethernet cable didn't matter, so I know it's a bad EA Server dealio, not my wifi/router or XBox Series S unit.
A PS/5 reboot (complete power down) won't guarantee access. Been there, done that, several times in the last 24 hours without success.
For the last two days when faced with this same problem, I played a different mode (one of the training camp mini games) for a few minutes, and then it let me into MUT straight after that.
Bizarre, and there shouldn't be a need for it. But it worked.
EA is now admitting that they are having some server issues. No additional information.
Rebooting is not a fix, although clearing the PS/5 cache may give you a higher chance of getting in.
if you hit the team pass button when its struggling to connect it shows it briefly in the top right hand corner it will force you in game most of the time ea will never miss an opp to try and sell you some shit lmao
I am still unable to access the new events for the team of the year and its been a full day at this point
