Can someone explain

Why does EA remove features and details from their game then bring them back years later, it’s like they insist on working backwards. For ex. Alternate uniforms, Alternate stadiums(i remember in M16 there was a Stadium option on Mut that resembled a highschool field), Weather options, Backfield skill moves, O-Line adjustments, etc. All of this stuff has been in the game before then next release it disappears out of thin air. It’s not a surprise Rockstars GTA franchise has such a cult fanbase with positive feedback, as they continue to add on instead of take away. EA methods with Madden never made sense to me from any standpoint.

It’s the marketing ‘hook’. Every year they need something to hook in new players. Easiest way is to use something that is old, revamped and relabelled. It’s basic marketing.
