Welcome back.

And now my cheesy crap is unstoppable with all the vanguards i can have on the field now(5 active vanguards), i'm rushing for 500 and scoring every play (it's not HB direct, it's even worse). It's just a race of cheese now. Can't believe i wasted 1200 plus hours of my life on this garbage game.
I did win the event the other day on my second try.
Some tips if they bring it back:
You must have a mind reader on the field, can't believe i played most of my games against people who didn't.
and a quick counter to that, if the other person has mind reader and you try a run play, a split second before you snap switch the side the run is going too.
I can't let myself do this again next year. I'm wondering if i should give out my play and the set up and cause a whole new cheese fest comparable to the HB direct.
😂 I mean you could just play the game like a normal human. No one is forcing you to play the game like a complete 🤡
Mind reader really like common the reason most people you played didn’t have it is because people want to play a football game and have to think for them selves,
To say the game is all cheese then you sit there and brag how you have 500 rushing yards because of vanguard and FT is hilarious. When the cpu does 98% of the work for you and the 2% you do is hold turbo and point the joy stick straight yea think just about anyone would not have fun doing that

I have to agree with this. At some point you have to be okay with not winning in the absolute easiest, cheesiest way possible. For some they derive fun out of that. I try things like that and just wonder what is the point. It’s just a frame of mind thing.
It’s ego driven as well. Some believe winning is all that matters and I suppose it does if you are trying to do tournaments or being a “pro”. But I just don’t see it that way because I’m just playing a video game. I make it fun for me to play. I don’t care if I lose, it just doesn’t matter that much to me.
A lot of video games work this way now. You have to actively put limits on yourself instead of playing within the absolute meta strategy. If that is impossible for you then just don’t play the game I guess.
Trust me I’ve been there with other games. Forcing myself to play meta and min max within the meta. And then you have trouble playing outside of meta because you will assuredly play against someone doing what you were doing, and you can’t fathom losing to that. But again that is just ego being a part of it.
Just ask yourself, dos it matter if I lose? Ask that one question. If the answer is yes, don’t play or play the cheese. Of the answer is no, well guess what you can play a myriad of ways and try all kinds of play styles, and treat it as a sandbox. That is where I have the most fun. But others will think differently and that is okay, too.
I find it hilarious to watch a streamer sometimes, getting all flustered because their opponent is not throwing to their user lurk every play, or opponent is gaining yards on just some random routes. Like it’s just unimaginable that they get yards or scores. Calling people trash, scummy, as if streamer is getting their time wasted because someone has the audacity to play the game against them. This is childish behavior, and it’s derived from the idea that they have invested so much time into the game they feel like the opponent should have no chance. I find it hilarious and sad at the same time. There is a reason there is not much following on streams and such. It’s just not a good product to watch.
I’ve rambled but there is a lot that is wrong with Madden and MUT, I could write a thesis on it. It really is wild. At the end of the day I feel like the Madden/MUT culture needs a huge change, but the way “rewards” are set up just brings out the worst possible outcomes, driven by ego and self worth, to a point where even personalities are affected. It’s just so interesting to look at lol.

reasons to run everytime
1. incomplete pass
2. interception

Get that stick unstuck.
I play to win. I mean the game might be alright for those of you who agree to 73 rules before kickoff and use coach suggestions but the competitive scene is what I was talking about.
People like you should just stick to your weird Sim leagues and stay off competitive h2h modes online.
Running dominantly still takes stick skill otherwise everyone would be doing it. It's probably harder to run than pass with the same three plays.

You say its an ego thing for us but I say its a testosterone thing for you.
Do you play real life games with friends? You dont try to win when playing basketball or a game of corn hole? I cant wrap my mind around that. Might as well just go sit and gossip with the ladies at the get together at that point...

So how about learning to play the game without having a lineup full of vanguards? I have yet to play anyone who uses that brand of cheese, stop pretending there is only one way to interact with the game.

Video games are different than physical sports. I don't actively try and lose of course, but I really don't care about winning. It is friendly competition. I would NOT label Madden / MUT as friendly competition. As evidenced by streamers, voice chat, messages received, this forums and their posts / replies, etc.
Madden and Mut get weird asf with the personalities, it is ego driven IMO, but who am I, just a stranger on the internet.

I'm in for gossiping with the ladies. 😏

My cheese play has worked for years and has flown under the radar as far as others using it. It works without vanguard but is unstoppable at years end when vanguards come out.

Ego/ testosterone fall into the same category/ sin-
Pride. You’re double wrong. plus there’s nothing manly about cheating. Now that’s a female trait.

You and most people wouldn’t be talking like that if the mut player was sitting next to you or face to face, the difference between online video games and irl competition.
You keep taking Ls here

Vanguards aren’t new. You didn’t invent the wheel 😂😂
If you were so good you sure as hell wouldn’t be conversing with us that’s for sure. You can’t compete let alone win without glitches.
Why should anyone listen to you or take you seriously? Ever? It’s a rhetorical we all know the answer

And then you run into someone who knows what they’re doing, you lose, then come here to bemoan and beseech everything.
We know the drill kiddo.
