The BND Pickens I got two days ago was a game changer for me. This game is time or money and I probably dspent too much time on it. Now I need to get back to work. They said they wont pay me for playing Madden, neither will the MCS because I'm not in the top 50,000.
Wan'dale Robinson has been good for me also.

jerry is definitely worth the 150k. i bought him awhile back for around 200k and he makes every big play for me. EA made that card special

Hopkins from the Season 1 field pass has been great for me.
Olave from the 86 GG Reward pack has also been great. Seems even better since adding the GG chemistry to my team. He is making a couple catches when the ball looks like it is going to be intercepted.
Can't wait to upgrade Randy Moss from the Season 2 field pass tokens. He has to be one of the best receivers or there is a glitch somewhere.
You get Victor Cruz free from the Hispanic Heritage challenges and can upgrade him some.
Started with Beckham and Flowers and both did really well until I upgraded through rewards.
All of the players I listed above really didn't cost me anything. If you don't want to do the challenges and just buy a WR, I would look for the fastest guy you can get a deal on through the auction house. TOTW seems to be priced very high right now, so I would avoid TOTW players. Maybe AKA GOAT? Maybe Core Jefferson or Core Chase? I have seen these players go for less than 100k.

Victor Cruz/ Brandin Cooks (fully upgraded) are great free options. I'd try to build your coins coinstack because Megatron and Tyreek both for under 250k are steals.
