BRING BACK SCHEME TEAM. NOT JUST THEME TEAMS

I'm currently running Eagles TT and have been since the start of the year. However, with the recent release of TB and MF, I've been debating on just selling all my crystals and Eagles player and just focusing on true attributes for my scheme. The lack of usable players that drop is horrible, and it seems like all the Eagles players are LTD, Dawkins, White, Vick when he dropped, Barkley is a crystal disgustingly overpriced, and my O-line is nonexistent, yet we get an unusable FS. (87 Blankenship has 84 speed) 

 I've been playing Mut since 16' and I missed when you actually got a boost for getting players that fit your team's  scheme based on player archetype. I'm not sure why that was even removed. I know I can't be the only one who agrees with this logic. I run  West Coast power run, and I feel like you're forced to run a theme team to be competitive from an attribute standpoint because you get plus 3 speed and others. 

Maybe I'm just venting but please EA. Stop being PAMFs

Yea I think EA is trying to be a bit varied with the theme team boosts this year but it's also a bit  suffocating in other ways. You can't really run a non-theme team and they all share a bunch of the same all-chem players anyways.

I miss those old scheme options as well, felt like that added some depth.

Even just using the salary cap from the regular game mode and trying to construct your own team out of it and play against other players with the same restrictions would be more interesting.

IMO An ultimate team game mode should be capable of engaging players in the team building aspect to the point where they would want to try out & own different team variations. That doesn't really work easily though with the overall increase treadmill though.

I made my own salary cap + archetype system for 2k to play with a friend years ago and we had a blast. The best team ended up being one where I had no player >= 90 ovr because I got a bunch of good defensive guys + Yao who was only 89.

Something like this would be really fun in ultimate team but it's also a lot of risk / work so I don't think EA would ever bother hahaha.

Look at what happens in CUT. Good idea in theory, but EA would neglect way too many schemes just as they neglect theme teams.

You know it's bad when Eagles TT is complaining.
