Bo Jack or Codarrelle Patterson

After using both of these I'm still torn on who to keep.

What's your opinion and why?

I think Cordarelle Patterson. Bo Jackson is great, but his time as the best HB in the game is over and the ability buckets of GTs like Patterson are what separates them from the rest of the good players. Plus I’ve heard that Patterson’s animations are glitchy.

Really tough decision. I run a partial Raiders theme team, and they are my HB1 and HB2. I might give a slight edge to Cordarrelle since he has different ability buckets, 99 SRR and MRR, and weighs a bit more. Cordarrelle has been a great punt and kick returner in the short time I've had him; haven't tried Bo for that, but he seems like he would be good as well. My 3rd down backs are 1) Cordarrelle, 2) Bo, and my power backs are 1) Bo and 2) Blount. I just put Tank on Bo to prevent fumbles and don't bother spending AP on Bo Knows (he's still great without it).

But Patterson's cheaper abilities and his animations make it hard to not choose him.

So going forward my backfield

Yr post inspired me last night to run Perry at Power HB and BB Trent Williams as his lead blocker.   Won 5 straight WL games using that combo once I got into the red zone.   

I have pretty much moved on from Bo now with the new perry/Williams combo.  That was his role as Power back.  I prefer Cordarelle over him.  I also use Cordarelle as a slot wr. 

for 3rd down RB I use Thurman Thomas and employ him frequently out of Gun trey flex — I target routes that the opponent  user should be covering.

thanks for the inspiration; got several first quarter concedes in WL which usually doesn’t happen for me.

i like patterson better because of his shiftiness ,bo seems clunky at times.
