Who are you guys usering on defense?

I've tried Peppers, Henry, Buckner, etc but need someone who has great COD, feels smooth, discounted abilities, etc.

Yeah! Currently using Simmons for his on/off Avalanche x factor, but was wondering if there was a better option with 99 speed. Ed Reed is too short, and I already have Sean T at FS.

I get a lot of lurks with Ernest jones

King Derrick, 0ap Avy is too good. Get 7 other OOP ASAs and he and Buck just smash.

I’ve tried most of the new big guys except for Buckner and the one I really like using is Henry. I’ve been running a lot of 3-3-5 lately and I will user any of the 3 guys in the middle of the field. Currently have Henry ROLB, McAfee MLB, and Ant (HB). They all move really well and McAfee and Ant (HB) react like they have MZKO even though they don’t. They both break on the ball so fast and get tons of pass breakups and INT’s.

I know it’s not conventional but these guys are super smooth and make way more plays than the other SubLb’s I’ve been using. 

Other guys I’ve recently tried at SubLb:

ASA Julius Peppers MLB

ASA Jimmy Graham

Combine Simmons SS

Combine Parsons MLB

I’ve had 1 user for the last 2 months SIMMONS is a dawg. Have I’m crazy boosted to 99’s and with his XFactor and speed I think he’s got over 50 INT’s and tons of critical forced fumbles

This is the most random question sorry....but why don't ppl use the catching abilities on wrs this year? I always look at the stack ppl mostly run and they are Hardly ever running the deep and short abilities. Usually mids but they are usually 0 ap. Are the points better a lotta elsewhere?

Lots of good options rn. you can  cater to any playstyle with users this year.

That said, Micah has been my mainstay due to chems and him being my favorite player in the NFL rn. Unstoppable Avalache + Extra Pop +Form Tackler + Lurk Artist + MZKO + Secure Tackler for 1AP is working as a user.

I'll sub in 6'9" monster DeForest Buckner sometimes, too, but he is noticably clunkier than Micah. He gets a similar stack for 0AP, too.

Honorary mentions to 6'9" monster Peppers (who is clunkier than Micah and Buckner), and ROH Kam Chancellor. Peppers has had some of the most outrageous interceptions for me, and BamBamKam + Micah caused so many fumbles for me when I was playing a mostly nickel scheme.

Simmons is still one of the best users, I still have him in the binder. I felt like I always got hung up on run blocks with him so I tried to find a user that I could get Out My Way for 0AP but it didn’t help as much as I hoped. I also tend to user 3-5 different players throughout a game depending on formations and my opponent’s tendencies.
