had such an average day yesterday in the new playbook. went from doing pretty solid in the house rules event previous days to 8-8 on the day haha
i lose about 6 or 7 plays i regularly used in my colts scheme but i keep about half my scheme in the eagle playbook too…
I’m trying to see if i can mix in some of these meta plays everyone seems to be using with my old scheme to help boost my wins against these meta guys because in colts, esp in house rules, if i don’t get any yards on 2nd or 3rd down, i struggle to pick up 20 against a cover 4 blitz on 4th down

House rules is a little bs because it’s not on all madden so scrubs get away with doing nonsense that glitches out the cpu alot easier. plus kind of takes away being able to just take your 5 yards vs It with the 20 yrs 1st down. cross fire blitz like every play almost its sad.

Falcons and eagles have been good for me. I’ve decided I want to be EXTREMELY off meta. I run commanders o. Specifically gun… go go slot open. I don’t care anymore, I’m having the most fun playing madden in this scheme than I’ve ever had (it’s also decently good, win abt 80% of games in it) need a fast qb, 1 power hb (I use j. Lewis) and 1 receiving hb (Judkins/jeanty does fine)

yep. I changed my playbook on D to run it too because i tried without it and yeah it’s just not a chance in hell you go 9-0.
I verse this blitz every second game, and the eagles offence every 2-3 games. to go 9-0 without running cheese yourself, you have to play total scrubs or be absolutely cracked yourself to over come the cheese.
id beat a couple of em and get to 8-0 then lose my 9th. happened 3 times so i switched both playbooks. D is down pact, still trying to get comfortable in the offence

i like to try be off meta against players who aren’t running the meta. But if you do run meta on O or D, i now have the ability to match you. Fair is fair, you run it, imma put you through the same hell 🥲

If people run Meta nonsense that everyone runs it’s super easy to stop. love to see trips te flex and normal y close, y trips nasty rpo read. bagged easy. see it enough you should be able to shut it down right away

yes and no. I have stopped it many times but there are some dudes out there who have mastered those formations. you can beat every coverage with a couple of audibles and on D, pretty hard to shut it down if they know what they’re doing

If you like to run the ball or pass to your RB often, the 49er’s playbook is the best. It’s Elite at taking advantage of dime formations and midzone blitzes.

I always use this in franchise it’s good. I also get lots of sim stats but I know this doesn’t matter. I just feel like there’s someone always open with it on the pass game and I can gash some big runs. They should update it too though so you get the chiefs flags too
