For me it’s the free Marcus Peters, I had him at 4th string and almost every time he was on the field he got a pick.
OvOSzn said:Yeah I don’t have Joey Porter I missed that comp pass week or he would definitely be locked in !
Ah damn. Good thing the game is basically over, i know how you feel cause I missed out on fully upgrading gronk and have been frustrated ever since bc I want that passive vanguard.

I have him. He’s a beast with the 49er’s TT

that card is a beast
98 joey porter and deion sanders have been studs for me since they dropped
OvOSzn said:Yeah I got renegade, terror, legatron and tornado and all those. I like having 3/3 Green Bay bcuz they definitely help out Peppers and Hendricks a ton.
Nice, What kind of TT you running at 9/9 ?
I have a vikes 9/9 colts 3/3 eagles3/3 seattle2/3 baltimore2/3 bengals2/3 saints 1/3 I was thinking that maybe it would be batter to use all my additional spot and ditch the 6 renegades to boost all my key guys. It actually seems really good. No my whole o Line is boosted pretty much all the way with my rp tokens and the other tt boosts I just got. And I replaced cann at LG with Bruce Matthew's. I figure all 99 stats was worth giving up nasty streak but well see. My vikes tt is only 20/50 now but I don't care. The real boosts are in the motivators. So now I have Hamilton and Adam's at saftries both with 2/3 boosts I have carmicheal and Brents with 3/3 boosts. I have ngata with eagles 3/3 and hendricks with colts 3/3. Moss with 9/9 and turner with 2/3 Bengals and than I have kiko at MLB and Nolan smith 3/3 eagles and young at outside lbs. Reggie and Hutchinson at 9/9 and cox 9/9 and Breese 1/3. I'm literally boosting anyone that starts but I think I'm out of room now. It got really expensive last night but I like my team much better
TitusTheBagchaser said:Don’t overcomplicate it, it’s still 98 Joey porter if you’re talking the best player listed at cb.
honorable mentions are parham, Carmichael, Deion, moss, Brents and Byron jones. Big gap btw them and the best, porter, but I think the rest of those guys are a lot better than the rest of the top guys. Lump in Hendricks too at slot cb if he can count.
I was running jpj at slot with universal and acro for 2 but I think I'm going moss 9/9 tt with pa acro mid zone ko and flat ko for 2. He's 2 inches taller with 99 everything and pa for the same ap.

I hear ya. I started mid Feb and didn't have enough time to get gronk. That's with me obsessing and playing constantly and still not enough time. Is his vanguard 0 ap?

1 ap but vanguard is infinitely better than secure protector at te from what I’ve seen, and SP is still a pretty damn good ability for a tight end. Gronk’s vanguard is on all game too, the only vanguard to do that

For me sp on a te is a total waste. I had it on Thad moss and it doesn't work for me cuz I use my te in the passing game
OvOSzn said:I have Julius Peppers and Pola Mola up top, Jamal Adams and Teddy Hendrix in the box, my corners right now are Randy Moss (running 45/50 49ers and 6/6 TT 49ers and 3/3 Green Bay for Hendrix and Peppers) Parham GT and the new Colts RP 99 with short, mid and deep rout KO. I have 1 AP to use and wanted to know a lock down corner to pick up?
I used Deion a ton earlier, had Carmichael but didn’t have enough Tokens to keep him, sold Lester Hayes, tried out A Boldin for a bit bcuz he gets 49er’s chems but he was aiiight, was looking at maybe the Bengals DJ Turner 99 RP maybe and run Inside Shade, PA, and DRKO for 1AP? Or any suggestions let me know who you like and what to run on him. Thanks y’all !
Fantastic question, one of THE most importation positions on the field, at least the defensive side of the ball. Do you play primarily Zone or Man schemes? For me personally, i'm super biased, been running a boosted 49ers TT since that promo dropped. Not sure it gets much better than this. I almost exclusively run Man to Man. Sometimes Cover 0, but quite often Cover 2 Man with Chad Johnson & Joey Porter Jr. deep safety help. Both with Universal Coverage X-factor, always-on. In the box I have Jamal Adams and Kyle Hamilton.
- Anquan Boldin (0AP OSA + 1AP Deep Route KO) -- hands down one of, if not THE best straight Man Corner in the game, especially if you have boosted team chems, he's fierce in both run and pass defense with darn near max stats
- Lester Hayes (1AP Universal Coverage, starts on + 0AP Deep Route KO + 1AP Pick Artist) -- i've waffled a bit, he was CB1 for a while, but i just recently moved him back to CB2
- Deion Sanders (0AP Pick Artist + 0AP Mid Route KO) -- quite possibly THE best corner in the entire game, easily the most productive on my roster. Feels liek Prime Time has liek 150-200 Awareness & Play Recognition stats, he's an absolute ball hawk even lacking Inside Shade
- DJ Turner (0AP Pick Artist + 0AP Inside Shade) -- i tried Gonzalez, but i still think DJ has a slight edge, despite no team chems
BONUS: Chris McAlister -- I haven't used him, but probably should have, has to still be one of the best Slot corners in the entire game.
EDIT: If you're not still running Pick Artist in late July, you're potentially missing out. Crazy how it's required even with players that have max 99 CTH stat. /sigh

Aww man, i feel yer pain. That's gotta sting. I burned Glover Quin by quickselling him before i realized how important he was going to be towards the TT Remix stuff, so now i'm perpetually stuck at 8/9 and it's driving my OCD absolutely friggin kRaZeE. Heh. I wish i were kidding. I had to read WizzLe's post on TT Remix details liek 3x before i could understand or begin to grasp how that shit was going to work. Oof. They won't let me get rid of the 80 OVR Sam Hubbard, nor some liek ~87 OVR from when i started back in December, but they let me burn a ridiculously important card i mistakenly thought was irrelevant trash. Aargh. I'm too dumb, i need EA to protect me from myself. It's odd behavior, because i typically keep all manner of binder trash around. Yeah, sucks to miss out on the random, but rare truly great card or niche ability that remains relevant for months and months.
That passive Vanguard is so ridiculously good, one of my favorite runs is a HB Counter, pulling both the RG (Anthony Bradford, with 1AP; Nasty Streak, Secure Protector & Threat Protector) as well as Gronk, they typically pancake their defenders, while i scamper away for a nice gain.
Chad Johnson FS at corner and joey porter jr both with UC. beasts for me

Yeah I might actually go back to Deion, PA, Mid and Deep KO for 1 AP, I used him for months and he balled out! Especially with my 45/50 9ers and 6/6 9ers TT
i am intrigued by Chris McAlister tho all 99‘s stats and believe he is 6’1 and can do Inside Shade and DRKO for 1 so I might give that a shot for a couple H2H seasons and if he doesn’t produce go back to Neon Deon
Also I had Lester Hayes for a while I don’t like how his Univ Coverage goes off tho for some plays where if he’s targeted he can give up a big play.
Boldin was solid I actually thought he would be a menace for me with the 49ers’ TT but he didn’t do anything out the norm and didn’t produce like Moss and Parham did so I sold him
