Best Budget CB until M26

Sold off all my high-priced cards.... Looking for a couple of budget CBs to play a bit before M26.   Less is better.   Suggestions?

Question needs more input from you...

  • What is your budget range per CB?
  • Are you playing H2H or CPU only?
    • If H2H, are you ok with getting run over all game by fat boy HBs?
  • What % of plays do you press?
  • How much Surge do you own?
    • How much Surge can you free up via downgrading unused players?
  • What is the % split between Nickel and Dime in your defense?

400,000 or less, both CPU and H2H, have extra surge, 80% nickel... Thanks!

You can upgrade the welcome pack CB Ted Hendricks with fan appreciation tokens, he doesn't get avalanche but other than that he gets everything you need on a corner, universal, out my way to counter the vanguards ect.

Here are some to consider, in no order...

  • Tykee Smith - 99 Rising Stars
  • Lattimore - 99 Fan Appreciation (No Enforcer Supreme)
  • Darius Slay / Sauce / Riley Moss - 92 TT Surge (Upgrade to 99)
  • Anthony Edwards - 98 ASA
    • GT DK Metcalf and TT Surge Night Train Lane are above price range but worth a look, Metcalf should be cheaper in a day or two from now.  If you put Edwards at CB4, that frees up coins for either of these
  • Hendricks (as mentioned above, if you have the tokens)
