Do you have to run Benkert at least as a backup to get any combine boosts? I thought I remember reading that he boosts the 93’s. Wondering if I can take the Maye card and what I will do with my Brady 3x chemistry card as backup.

Every upgrade tier will show you another name and the specific 93 OVR Combine player Kurt Benkert boosts. It's trivial to get all these guys to max 99 SPD, Strategy items​, QB, 40 + 20 hybrid theme team = 99 SPD all over the field. And they get discounted ability buckets with dual team chems. Get as many as you can, IMO. Couple BND rewards from grinding Field Pass, start there.
