Sorry, seems Barry (and perhaps even Jerry) have decided to remove themselves from this mess of a game. I'm sure EA was being notoriously cheap and refusing to pay these big names. Probably why we haven't seen a T.O. since i've been back to Madden.
Barry just the other day liked my retweet of his message to the community, announcing that he'd no longer be part of this buggy ass mess: https://x.com/patpeatrick/status/1903156361413943503 -- but he announced it back in April 2024. Ahead of his time, it seems.

Yup T.o publicly announced EA's offer was embarrassing(something like 1,500?) Years ago. Im betting the older legends found out EA was paying younger guys more money for rights and it caused a problem.

Holy shit, HA -- i just randomly pulled what i believed to be an insulting number out of my ass recently, i'm fairly certain $1500 is the exact value i dropped, having never heard of this. Thanks for sharing. Wish the dude who he was responding to hadn't wiped his entire Twitter account, curious what that back and forth was liek. I'm amazed there's some pros who are fine with that piddly amount, i guess it's for literally doing nothing, free money is free money, but still feels insulting. Very on brand for EA.
