I think it has a lot to do with the poll sample. We are on a forum, not redit or discord. I think mostly the older generations frequent forums which is skewing the results.

True. But I still think it's the oldest or one of the oldest. The other games I play are all teens usually. Except for maybe GTA or RDR2. Now if we're talking phone games slot of older people play those but I'm talking strictly console

Of the head-to-head crowd, old enough to know better than to play with as little class as they do as a group. Some of the trashiest people on the planet, regardless of their age. Good guys among them, also regardless of age. But just no grasp of decency or sportsmanship.
