Think of what the auction house is going to be like right when it opens. It's going to get flooded with cards so I'm sure some will be SUPER cheap. I doubt you're going to see the cyrstals affected, but every other cards price is going to get hammered from the supply.
I assume it’s gonna be very similar to when everybody is opening present: for zero chill gonna be a nice window to buy cheap

Part of me thinks it's intentional for that reason. It's going to get everyone to sell cheap, then buy the new shit high af, which will eliminate some of the coins from the high end market place, which makes the spenders spend more even if it's just to get coins again.
Safe to say nobody's impressed with the owners at this point.
Obviously new ownership is going to cause initial hickups. But this is a pretty bad one. We still have no idea how they're going to handle make rights, Glitches, Holiday promos. Or anything else moving forward. This might be just one big mess that's never going to get fixed depending on what priority the new ownership puts on this.
If the new ownership is highly focused on soccer with little interest on the NFL, this could actually be pretty bad moving forward.

There’s no chance this is related to new owners unless it’s some kind of rogue developer protest. Things don’t happen that quickly.
New ownership isn't until 2027. Y'all trippin. Lol. This is just EA doing typical EA things.

Do you know why it's down or when it'll open up?
This is crazy, its 5 pm, the auction house has been down for like 4 or 5 hours now

I was just thinking about this, and about how it will probably open up while I'm at work so that the guys with deep pockets and no real job will be able to scoop up the cheap cards.
It really is stupid how this game so greatly favors people who can treat this game as on-call employment. I had a handful of obligations during the Pregame Access period, but when I couldn't be on at two particular times, in both cases the biggest market swings happened then. When the Auction House does open up, I'll either be available, or more likely, not be available.

I wouldn't be shocked if it weren't down until Tuesday. They have through Friday to get it solved, and if that doesn't happen, Monday would be for testing.
Or maybe EA's about to launch the Madden 26 Companion App, and the Auction House is being overhauled to accommodate it. I tend to think not, as this likely would have been announced.

its simple just take away bids temporarily, and fix this shit during the middle of the night like they do with every other big patch or update

The new deal is subject to shareholder approval and won't be closed until early 2027 if it goes through.
It's as if somebody didn't read the report in full or something.

it actuallyhas the opposite affect. there will be snipes, but yo uwill be able to sell cards well above market bc of the filters being flooded.
