Are crystals worth it?

I’m currently a 50/50 falcons Theme team I have 3.3 Million and considering buying a few of the cheaper crystal cards. I’m not a fan of buying the super expensive ones like Gibbs but probably more like the Nico Collins, Fred Warner and Micah but I’m not sure if it’s worth buying them and not getting the max boost. The reason I’ve been hesitant is I don’t want to really lose coins with these low Ovr extremely expensive cards but I don’t see any reason they ever drop non price tbh. Please lmk if y’all think I should get them and if so which ones

just buy the first ones (micah,saquan,ps2*redux*) you get +1 speed and other stats for ur whole tt its worth the investment to boost ur entire tt speed

I got the need the need

I kept redux Surtain for the minor boost but moved on from the speed boost when CS Micah came out. I might try to scoop Micah/Saquon if Saquon drops below a mil in the hope that EA eventually gets to adding a path to put crystals in future iterations of the same player.

Do you think if ea makes them able to be put in each other that the prices go up?

Yes, absolutely.

So if I get the low crystals I get +1 speed and if I get the high crystals then I get another +1 speed? Making those 6 cards give my squad +2 speed or am I trippin?

Micah, Saquon, and Surtain will give +1 speed along with some defensive boosts to the theme team. Nico, Fred Warner, and Gibbs will give +1 acceleration along with some offensive boosts to the theme team

I had 2.5 mil and was gonna go for chaisson. Got barkley at 1.7 and the rest for like 600k and let me tell u....my pats tt is cracked.

100% worth it if you run a tt and have the coin.

Plus i only see these cards keeping their value until a new +1 spd crystal promo drops so you can sell if you dont see a difference

I feel like they’re only worth it to the sweatiest of the sweatiest H2H players. If you aren’t trying to win MCS money then I wouldn’t worry about them. They make a difference but they don’t win/lose you games. And if you play for fun or offline, then there’s much better options for those coins.

The first 3 are very worth it. I don't have the others but doesn't seem like it to me. Having the +1 speed is fantastic.

Definitely worth it. I run a Bears TT. At 90 ovr right now which is nuts cause 91 LTDs are just now coming out. 

They make your older card last longer and when you get that new TT card it cooks.

The only not expensive card that will give you a boost is Surtain.

Defensive Crystal chemistry:

Barkley +1 

Parson +1 

Surtain + 3

Offensive crystal chemistry:

Collins +1

Fred +1

Gibbs +3

You get a boost at +3, and +5. And you can NOT mix the first release with the 2nd release. You need either Surtain or Gibbs to get any kind of boost
