They were never "locked". MUTLeaks is right most of the time but EA also rug pulls.

Am I the only one that thinks these so called glitches are not an accident? They seem to always happen in the middle of the day. Then the YouTube pumpers get on and say oh my God look how stupid EA is. But they always catch the quote glitch. EA doesn't take anything back. Any other game where they make a legit mistake and the players benefit from it they instantly reverse the mistake and take what was wrongfully given. Ea does not do that. Surprise! There was a training glitch before sugar rush. I remember in m23 there was the egg glitch. Same exact thing just served a different way. Sorry folks none of this is by accident and I'm sick of supporting a company who solely caters to the big spenders/influencers.

First off, “A day that will go down in infamy” is very dramatic. That makes it sound like a war started, not a change from 25 to 20 coins per Karrot  in Madden 25 in April.

Second, they never said anything about the conversion rate, you just assumed that, and MUT leaks said it wasn’t guaranteed either.

Im probably in the minority but I’m completely fine with the 20/1 ratio. That many coins put into circulation would have caused hyper inflation, resulting in the average player that didn’t go all in on karrots having a harder time obtaining cards. 

We already have limiteds that for the average player are unobtainable due to prices. Adding more coins to the market would just make those prices go higher. 

I have a ton of coins, a god squad, and invested a significant amount in karrots just in case, but I’m not upset that I didn’t break the back with the conversion rate. 

I think most folks that are frustrated are those that went all in.

Yeah lmao sue a company for a unverified claim about the price of a coin version.

There are some real clowns on this forum. It seems like a heavy mix of teenagers and unemployed people with nothing else going on. I really wish the duplicate threads and constant complaint posts would be removed.

EA never said it’ll be 25/1, it was just speculation

Never once did I mention MUTLeaks or his speculation on the conversion rate. The fact is that Sugar Rush cards were locked on the auction block at 25 coins per carrot and you could not sell them realistically. It would therefore make sense that carrot conversion rate would be the minimum rate they set themselves on the auction block. People here defending EA's actions are either fools or assholes, which I guess is par for the course with this community.

Was heavy into MUT up into a couple years ago. The disconnect between EA and MUT players is pretty rough, always has been. Also something I will never understand. Whether the conversion rate was never guaranteed or not EA knew this was a spit in the face to the community.

EA never said anything implicitly regarding the conversion rate, but they price locked Sugar Rush cards at the minimum rate of 25 coins per carrot on the auction block, with no realistic way to sell them other than quickselling and waiting for conversion. It would then make sense that the conversion rate would therefore be the minimum rate they themselves set on the auction block. This has nothing to do with MUTLeaks speculation.
