I switched from PS3 to PS4 during MUT 15 when there were separate markets. I bought everything that was rare on PS4 before I converted over. Percy Harvin was a ghost on PS4. I bought 5 on PS3 and sold each for 10 million in less than 5 minutes 🤣🤣🤣. Boss Peppers was selling for 10 million as well and I had 3 of those.

The market is fine on old gen... and the game play is far better.

You're delusional if you actually think gameplay on old gen is better. Lmao
I haven't paid much attention to old gen market as I'm on current gen. But I wouldn't be surprised if this is true. Now both current and old gen platforms have players who are willing to spend money. I think current gen has more players willing to spend. Mostly, because most of the people who make money on playing mut are on current gen.
Comp players need to play current gen to compete in MCS. Additionally, I'm pretty sure most of the big content creators play on current gen as well. Both comp players and content creators are more likely to spend money on packs which means there's more items to be sold on the auction house.

Sorry bruh... I'm not a casual. I like being able to user to cover multiple routes and cover large portions of the field... and having a skill gap for experienced players.

I’d argue you’re at least a bit of a casual if you refuse to move forward with the current iteration of the game on year 4
The Legends market on old gen is rough.

I’m not trying to be toxic or anything, but you’re just wrong. Don‘t even try to argue. Next>Old

So you like unrealistic gameplay??

I'm sorry but the game is BORING on current gen. Offense is far to easy. Defense is nearly impossible against good players (or players with cheese schemes). And I don't think it will get better as the year moves forward because I played a bunch of games on current gen at the end of M23 when everyone had 99 OVR teams.

So make your case... convince me why current gen is "better". I'll give you the counterpoint.
Literally the only thing better on current gen is that there is no FG block exploit. But even that can be managed on old gen.

I'm not a "sim" player. The entire concept of MUT is unrealistic.
I just think there should be a significant skill gap between experienced players and casual/new players. EA has been shrinking that skill gap for years because it's better for business. They will keep more players engaged and sell more packs if little Timmy, who gets the game for Christmas and plays it for a few weeks, can feel like he is competitive.
The game on current gen is reflective of the tidal shift towards casualization of MUT... but it's not enjoyable for me. To each his own.

The coverage requires more skill to user and make it so AIs lock up, running the ball requires more skill than human joystick all over the place, and skill passing which all make a larger skill gap which you said you like, not to mention also the better graphics, more FPS, momentum meter, fieldsense, better skeletons, faster load times, ect. What’s better on old gen than current gen? (I know the answer… it’s nothing)

Once again... defense is almost impossible against good players on current gen. The user is so sluggish that you can really only cover a single route. On old gen it takes far more skill to be a good user. It also takes more skill to run an effective offense on old gen because you have to scheme around the user and avoid being "baited". Offense is far too easy on current gen. Also... I've played both versions... and running the ball is comparatively easy on current gen.
A casual/newish player can come out in something like Gun Trips TE or even Gun Bunch and be competitive against experienced players on current gen. This isn't happening on old gen.
Just watch a lot of the popular streamers (Gutfoxx, Dubby, etc.) and while they're still great players and win a lot of games... against other good players, they are constantly being frustrated by how the game plays on current gen. They struggle to stop them on defense.
As for graphics... I'm old. I can remember the first football game on a PC (way before consoles). It was called NFL Challenge and used X's and O's to represent the players... and it was super fun. The state of the graphics on old gen and current gen are perfectly fine for me.
