I’ve heard good things about the CPU event. I haven’t had much free time yet, so haven’t completed it myself though.

Play the CPU house rules
If you need help with strategy, just run a 1 play touchdown play (streaks to Worthy are pretty free)
On defense run pinch buck 0, sam will blitz, mid blitz or things like that. As soon as you see the defender close to sack the quarterback, switch on and spam rb/r1. You'll get crazy sacks and fumbles which cause a 2 to 6 point swing.
Also when in the open field try and line up hit sticks, the fumble chance is relly high in this gamemode.
Idk if i've gotten crazy lucky from these packs, or if thats just the state of packs with the market right now. Everytime I'm doing this it feels like I make over 40k coins worth of players in the packs plus the 20k guaranteed coins when you win 10 games.

It costs some money but I did two of the step offers one through six or seven I think, a little over a $100 each. I got some great pulls. Today 84 Derrick Henry and 85 Lamar Jackson. As far as coins go I have a good team (Mayfield, Lattimore, Alt, Juedy, Queen, ect.) 1.6 million left!

Where is the CPU house rules? And what are you doing with your worthy streaks? Everytime I try it he doesn't catch the ball or it gets swatted/picked off.

Yeah, I didn't like discovering that there was no cool down. Just a once-per-game limit. (Not that you actually get more than about five offensive plays to win those games.)

Oh shit! I have been going to where it says CPU and playing the run. I'll have to try out the house rules. Can you play them as many times as you want? What's the rewards?

This works really well. Run it through twice now using this approach. Took about 40 minutes each. On top of the 20k reward, I’ve made at least 50k+ coins from the cards out of the reward packs and been able to make some good adds to the team. Just sold off a Jordan Love and Travis Hunter I got from one run.
