Edit: My initial post assumed that all of the items in the Elite All-Star Athletes Completion Set were 91 OVR. Corrections follow.
I was doing a little math this morning, and while subject to the caveat that we seem to be nearing a price floor drop, this is what I came up with:
Complete the 91's, then the 95's, and finally the 98's. I don't see a reason to do it in a different order.
ASA 91's x 8 @ 22,000 = 176,000 coins
ASA 89's x 8 @ 5,500 = 44,000 coins
Complete Elite All-Star Athletes Completion Set
Sell the ASA 89's at 5,500 x 90% = 39,600 coins
Sell two of the ASA 91's at 22,000 x 90% = 39,600 coins
Any 93's x 4 @ 35,000 = 140,000 coins and roll six of the ASA 91's into 2 95's ASA Fantasy Packs
ASA 95's x 14 @ 130,000 = 1,820,000
Complete Hero All-Star Athletes Completion Set
Any 95's x 10 @ 80,000 = 800,000 and roll 15 of the ASA 95's into 5 98's ASA Fantasy Packs
ASA 98's x 11 @ 550,000 = 6,050,000
Complete Champion All-Star Athletes Completion Set
Total: 8,950,800
This is the painless version. I have no doubt these sets can be completed for less with better snipes, but if they could be, it also means you could complete these sets quickly, and use the time saved to assemble ASA Champion sets to make up the difference. I suspect these sets will largely be coin losers, unlike some of the other completion sets we've had. Perhaps Part Two of All-Star Athletes will show something that makes a pair of BND 98's worth the time and loss.
