There are lots of situations in life where you need to put your feelings in your pocket. If you're representing an entity, and both NFL teams and the NFL itself are entities, you have to accept that they wish to be represented in a particular way, and Kluwe disregarded that. You completely misunderstood my actual position. I was speaking of what happens.

I choose to make a difference in the world. I just don't discuss politicized social issues on a football forum. "Didn't take a stand" meant I wasn't commenting on the legitimacy of any one player's position. I was restricting myself to comments about football as a sport and players as having skill or lack thereof.
