So I stashed a 98 RR card in each of the the Byron Jones and Anquan Boldin sets with no intention of doing them but didn't want to use them by accident but now I want to put them in a RP set but can't remove them from the set even though there is only 1 98 in each of them.
Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

You can mark cards this year in your binder so they don't qs, you also can add 5 training to do the first upgrade step in any card and that will keep it from going into sets.
Just a pro tip for next year so you don't run into this again.
Same thing happened to me. Had 98s in sets just as placeholders. I had to make the sets and just sell them at a loss.
I now have them locked (which I didn’t want to do originally for fear they’d be stuck ironically)

Thanks. I'm aware of that and do use it but never ran into a situation where I could not remove a card from a set that I hadn't completed.

Your comment made me spit up my coffee laughing. I accidentally put a 98 into the 93+ sets a couple weeks back. Since then I've been "locking" my 98's in my binder but every time I do that I say to myself... man am I F'ed if EA messes up and we can no longer unlock them.
