Currently running a 50/50 Jags theme team at 89 OVR - the issue is that I have one starter out of 22 on offense/defense that actually played on the Jags.
I like TT and the building element of it, but it’s either gotten too easy to game the system with backups / strat items, gotten too easy because of all 32 chem players - or both.
This year is the easiest it’s ever been… to many all 32 team cards
By the super bowl, everyone’s backups will be “all 32 team” players. Only postions were missing, I believe are: LT, LG, RG, SAM, DT, K, P, TE already.
Tear it up and start again with players who have actually played for the Jags at some point.

there is Ted in the game and Njoku coming out. so for some those positions will be filled already
I have a 55 Steelers TT. My team doesn’t consist of a single player that did not play for the Steelers. If you’re complaining that your theme team doesnt have actual players of that team on it, that’s on you. Bitch somewhere else. You don’t have my sympathy of “not being able to run a pure theme team.”

Feels like the opposite of a concern to me. Never been easier to field a competitive theme team, from pretty much every team.
With all the actual Madden issues, people complain about the weirdest stuff in this community.
The concern isn’t that I haven’t used more than one player on the Jags, it’s that I don’t have to use them because it’s been watered down with all-32 players.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving the game and will keep with a theme team, but it used to require more actual players from that team. How can something be considered a theme team if it’s just 21 wildcards?
In the past we've had like 25 unusable theme teams at a time, because they just don't put in the effort to balance them. They never have. I prefer it this way.
With tons of free weekly token players I've been able to switch theme teams like 10 times already. It's literally the funnest part of the game to me.
