On this fourth, just sitting here remembering how awesome the 4th of July promo was back in MUT 15. Last time I remember EA making a fun promo out to finish the season. It was all downhill from there. What do any of you old head remember about that promo?

Madden 16 had the Memorial Day promo with 99 Larry Fitz

The players went past 99 to 104 back then. The Ronnie Lott card was probably my favorite card ever.

Rip 4th of july,summer blockbusters and this year newly added to the list thanksgiving promo.

Ah yes, the good old days. 99 SS Ronnie Lott and 99 WR Larry Fitzgerald on 4th of July could be built for under 50k (I don't remember the set inputs and required some preparation).  Not difficult to snipe Lott for under 200k, or 99 RGIII, 99 MLB Derrick Johnson, or 99 WR Vincent Jackson for 100-150k  Way better deals to be had back then because the game didn't hand-hold sellers with last four sale prices.  Cards (especially Lott) played great because Stats and Traits ruled the day and Abilities did not exist under the old Ignite Engine.

Word! Another useful tool in set completing was the trade block. I also liked the concept of power up cards, one could profit a lot by investing in low ovr pieces. The only thing I donât miss at all was to spend âcontractsâ to play solos.

That was the transition year for me from 360. I screwed up the transfer process so I never got the Jared Allen.
It was a great promo and I would be down for it to have continued. Right up there with BCA for me.
All of the cards killed and helped Super Bowl runs.
