Team of the Year Promo (Part I) Reveal

Duration

Team of the Year (TOTY) will be split into two separate promos (Part I and II). Part I is 17 days in duration.
Starts: February 27th @ 10:30am ET
Ends: March 16th @ 10:30am ET

This card functions very similarly to how Vamp Bailey, Calvin Johnson, and Blitz The Elf's card functioned in the Most Feared, Feast, and Ultimate Freeze promos.
Only difference is that Trey McBride will be upgradeable all the way up to a Marvel instead of just a Mythic.
He will be upgradeable over the course of both TOTY I AND II.
There's 28 variations of this card (Uncommon -> Marvel).
There's a currency called "Victory Laurels" that goes toward upgrading Trey McBride from an Uncommon to a Marvel Rarity.
The Boosts to TOTY Players on his card are permanent in duration (i.e. they do not expire at any point). The +1 OVR to Mythic+ Boost on his card only lasts for 30 days, per usual.
You can view your progress toward obtaining the different player cards via the Hero's Pantheon tab or via TOTY promo Player Albums.

Victory Laurels are used to upgrade Trey McBride from an Uncommon -> Marvel Rarity.
You can earn Victory Laurels in a variety of different ways including:
- Completing Blitz events corresponding to different codes (see the “Olympian Blitz” section below for more information).
- Completing Gods' Gauntlet events (see the “Gods' Gauntlet” section below for more information).
- Collecting "Divine Blessings" (see the "Hero's Pantheon" section below for more information).
- Completing various TOTY promo player Trades (see the “Trades” section below for more information).
- Watching Ads

Here is where you can access the trades to build/upgrade Trey McBride, which you can do by selecting the button with his Player icon.
The button to the right of Trey McBride's upgrades button is one of the locations where you can obtain Victory Laurels.
- You do this by collecting "Divine Blessings." 1x Divine Blessing exchanges for 1x Victory Laurels.
- You collect Divine Blessings like you would Stamina where it recharges over time (1x Divine Blessing every 50 seconds).
  - Similar to stamina, Divine Blessings cap at 600x where you'll need to collect it once it hits that cap before you can accrue more.

- You gain progress toward completing these Goals via completing Gauntlet events (see below for more information regarding this).
- These Goals reward a hefty amount of Victory Laurels.

Each day there will be 2x Godly Trials that become available (34x Godly Trials total over the 17-day promo).
These Godly Trials will require you to play the different Blitz events on this page in a certain order, which corresponds to a code. Complete the events in the required order to unlock 1,875x Victory Laurels & 1x 107 OVR UC TOTY Player.
Unlike previous promos, you won't be able to get ahead on these Godly Trials. That is, you won't be able to guess codes before they officially become available in-game.
You can complete these Godly Trials at any time during the promo once they unlock.
All 6x Blitz events cost 30x Event Stamina and reward 60x TOTY Tokens.

There's 3 different Gauntlets containing events (Zeus, Poseidon, & Hades).
These Gauntlet events cost Event Stamina to play.
Gauntlet events follow the traditional 2-for-1 cost/reward system.
The final event in each of the 3x Gauntlet chains costs 150x Event Stamina.
Opponent OVR for the events is 5000 OVR.
You need to complete each of the 3x Gauntlets 3x over the course of the promo to complete the different TOTY Promo Goals, which reward a hefty amount of Victory Laurels.
Gauntlet events reward TOTY Tokens & Points just like the traditional Blitz events.
Failing any of the Gauntlet events a certain number of times will require you to start the Gauntlet chain all the way from the first event again.
- Zeus' Challenge only gives you 1 Life.
- Poseidon's Challenge only gives you 2 Lives.
- Hades' Challenge only gives you 3 Lives.

Completing various TOTY player trades rewards not only the player(s) itself, but also a varying amount of Victory Laurels, which go toward building Trey McBride.
It is estimated that you'll need to build 3x TOTY Mythic Players over the course of TOTY I & II for Mythic McBride.
It is estimated that you'll need to build 8x TOTY Mythic Players over the course of TOTY I & II for Marvel McBride.
