A few weeks ago I was playing head to head seasons and got matched up with a newbie using the starter team. Apparently they didn't know how to concede the game, or else they were really stubborn. I tried scum kicking and touchdown celebrations to try to get them to quit. We kept playing and I ended up winning 54-0.

Touchdown celebrations earned, I don't see the problem.  Unless you are spamming the same play...

More ideas to make things more obvious: 

1. Run out of your own end zone for a Safety (freebie);
2. Kick field goals (and miss) from your own 20;
3. Above fails, run QB Sneak on 4th down / 1 yard line, try to reach your own 1 yard line.  
4. If you have Tom Brady, run QB Sneak on every play after.  Tom Brady stuffed, maybe he will really retire, and everybody wins.

I have kids playing on here but they know when it's over.

I've got tom brady 97 tribute as backup to Lamar Jackson since he only quicksells for 100 training.

I wasn't exactly spamming the same play, but I did try using the power 0 play that almost guarantees a first down a couple times

I was just surprised when I matched up against him (I was on the higher tier h2h seasons) and frustrated when he wouldn't concede the game.

that same thing happened to me in the MVP division and i ended up winning 63-0

when someone is domainating me i finish the game no matter the score so i can watch the replays to see how its done. This is what taught me me my most successful plays

I did the same thing and won 73-0

I think in a game like that you’re fine doing whatever to run it up to make them quit.

If I’m going for XP challenges/objectives or MUT Master tokens, then I’ll run it up. If I’m bored, I chew clock and just go for 1st downs and go to the ground.

Last Tuesday I was playing a game in the morning won 42-0 but he wouldn't quit and it was to make the playoffs, so I was almost late to school. They should have a mercy rule

Sometimes I think that maybe people learn they aren't going to win so they just let you score as an attempt to draw out the game as long as possible to hold you there. Making you frustrated and possibly quitting the game giving them the win. Or it could've been like someone who does like an unknown madden channel trying to win with the starter team.

This happened to me and I won 142 to 1. Crazy
